Chapter 273 - Oh my...god! (1/2)

After that, Michael started making his way towards the direction of the house of the Druid Sonya.

Michael arrived and stood before the door of Sonya's house, and a few seconds passed, he finally decided to knock on the old door.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

”Come in” an aged voice sounded from inside the cabin.

Michael pushed the door open and closed it before him, and when he focused his attention inside, the thing that quickly caught his attention were Mara and Ant sleeping soundly beside the fireplace while Sonya sat alone on her reclining chair, busy reading some kind of book with a cover that looks really worn out from use.

”So this is where these two kids were,” Michael said while Sonya nodded at him as an acknowledgment of his presence.

”I heard you wanted to see me?”

Finally, Michael remembered what he came here for as he quickly turned his attention to Sonya.

”Yes, I wanted to give you something,” Sonya said while she slowly got up from her reclining chair, and then slowly made her way towards a small cabinet hanging on her kitchen wall.

She opened it and took out a small brown leather pouch, closed the door and turned towards Michael.

”Here, I wanted to you to have this” Sonya said as she handed the small pouch to Michael, where the latter received it respectfully to his hands.

”Seeds?” said Michael, the moment the pouch was in his hands.

[Small Leather Pouch]

A worn-down leather pouch full of precious seeds that could be planted in rich soil.

”Yes, seeds”

”I'm sure you're planning to turn half of the new land into a garden, right?”

Sonya slowly sat on her chair and stared straight at Michael.

”Yes, I did have that in mind” Michael answered as he also stared back at her, while deep inside him, he was wondering how this old lady knew what he had in mind for the new land, as he did had the thought of turning half of the land into a garden so that the village would have a more stable source of food.

”Use those seeds well,” Sonya said, and after that, she didn't say anything anymore as she just focused on the book she was reading earlier.

Michael bowed to her before making his way out of the cabin.

”Were you satisfied with that?”

Sonya opened her mouth a few moments after Michael left her home.

”Of course”

Suddenly, Michael's teacher, Laura, suddenly appeared from behind Sonya, wearing a smiling expression on her face.
