48 Lesson 48 Inner Ocean and Kraken (1/2)

Having safely secured the ship and the sailors, I decided to leave the scene flying straight to the roof.

It's going to be a bit of a hassle if you stay here.

Running off to an unpopular place, I take out a magic bag and change my jacket in a different color than the one I'm wearing right now.

Later you'll just have to walk around the city in grandeur and rendezvous with Mr. Liliera.

”Cu!”

I was just scolded by her for reuniting with Mr. Liliera.

I beat my head with pessimism when Moffmoff asked me if you were really reflecting.

Well, in a way, I was watching it in the privileged seat.

”Has Kraken lived around here that long?

I'm curious about Kraken's timing. I'll ask Mr. Ronzen.

”No, it's only recently that he showed up. He suddenly appeared and began attacking ships in the inner ocean. Because of this ship in the inner ocean, at the risk of a shoreline, we had to run the ship along the shore.”

So if it's shallow water along land, Kraken can't attack it either?

But Mr. Ronzen is right, it's dangerous in shallow waters, except for small boats.

Is it because of that Kraken that the people in town were talking about?

Oh, sure enough, that makes you have to hire a ton of wizards every time Kraken shows up.

”I was hoping the military battleship would do something about it this time, but it fell short of expectations.”

Mr. Ronzen drops his shoulder and sighs.

”I can't even go fishing because of him, and he's really good at business.”

Looks like the people in town are in trouble, too.

”That's not what I meant. I was just hoping for that brother earlier.”

”Huh?”

”What, you guys, you didn't see it? Take that battleship, Brother Sugai. Well, that was outrageous! If I had that power, I could drag him out of the ocean! I couldn't look in detail because it was from far away, but I'm pretty sure he was a young brother. Still, I wonder why he disappeared.”

Uh, yeah. Right.

I'm sure you didn't want to stand out.

He was a knight, wasn't he?

”Oh, yeah, even if they do, the fishermen in town won't let the boat out because they're afraid he'll destroy it. It's not even the latest battleship.”

That's all I'm saying, Mr. Ronzen just disappeared into a mess.

Maybe he was worried about us and taught us a lot?

”So, what do you say? Is there a way to beat Kraken?

Liliera asks me if I can't see Mr. Ronzen anymore.

”Yeah, it seems like it's no use getting the ship out when we're talking about him.”

Yeah, because if they overthrow or destroy the ship, that's it. Besides, if you attack with magic, you'll end up in jail and get away with it.

”But there must be some good maneuver, right? Isn't that why you've been looking for a request form?
