4 Daemons (1/2)
We somehow managed to escape the inn but after we went outside the inn. It was horrible, the whole town is on fire. I tried to see if any people were around but there were none. All I could think of that all the townspeople have already fleed or have to take shelter somewhere.
Suddenly a scream of a woman shouting for help can be heard nearby, I grabbed Lily's hand and started to run to that place. A shadow figure was attacking that woman, I quickly dashed to the shadow figure and attack him with my fist. The shadow figure vanished and turn into some black liquid, luckily for me, my gloves were enchanted by magic that boosts my attack if I strike with my fist.
\”Are you okay miss? \” As I lend my hand to help her to stand up.
\”I'm okay but please help the other at the church.\”
\”What happens in this town?\” I need all the information on these events.
\”I don't know much but the knight in the church said that the Demon Lord may be the cause of these attacks. It was a sudden attack and the knight order us all to evacuate in the church.\”
\”So why are you out here? Did something happen inside the church?\”
\”The knights that protecting the church were defeated so easily and I thought that I was gonna die if I stay at that place so I tried to escape.\”
\”I will check out the church but please look after Lily and get out of this town, I will catch up to you later.\”
Lily seems to dislike my idea but I told her that I promise to come back after this. Before I go to the church, I must confirm that Lily and that woman leave the town safely. After they left the town safely, I quickly go to the church as I saw many knights and townspeople corpse in the ground. I did not encounter any of the shadowy figures on my way to the church.
After entering the church, I see all the townspeople and the knights were still there and still safe. I was glad that the townspeople still alive and I told the knights that it's better to escape from this town. Something weird here, why we're all the people here were smiling instead of being scared and the atmosphere here was rather quiet.
\”Sir knight do you hear me?\”
It seems that he can't hear me, what happened in here. I got a bad feeling in this place but I should investigate it more. As I started to walk past the knights I hear a peal of laughter behind me, I quickly turned around but there was no one there.

\”Another human here to become my feast\”
Suddenly all the people in that church turn into shadowy figures and started to attack me. I was caught off guard and took some minor damage. Somehow I managed to defeat some of the shadowy figures and make my run to escape the church.
I never saw these shadowy figures in the game before, what are they. The shadowy figures keep spawning after I defeated them. They are weak but if they keep coming I may be out of stamina in no time. The strange voice suddenly speaks again.
