”We originally lost our way in the mountains, but it was fine because we didn't encounter any enemies. However, when we got out of the mountains yesterday, we encountered a small group of Mutants!” Old Bei started to describe what happened with the Mutants to Bai Wanli and the others. He shared the story of how they lost many people in the fight but still managed to win in the end, preventing the Sect from being completely destroyed.

”He's lying!” Ariel said in Jiang Fei's heart. As she had strong Soul Energy, she could easily see through Old Bei's lies.

”Sigh… the evils we bring upon ourselves are the hardest to bear!” Jiang Fei sighed. If Old Bei was willing to tell them the truth, Jiang Fei would not make things hard for him. However, up until now, he was still lying. It seemed like he had decided to stand with the Mutants completely.

”What? Reinforcements? We still have reinforcements?” The traitor Old Bei was really quite diligent. After hearing the word ”reinforcements”, he immediately inquired for his new master.

”Yeah, our reinforcements will soon arrive at the battlefield!” Zhu Tianfei was not very sharp, so he was not suspicious of Old Bei at all. As soon as Old Bei asked, he answered.
