After his Defense had been weakened, Jiang Fei felt a greater strain when fighting against the boss. He had also become frequently in danger of being killed.

As Jiang Fei's Defense had been lowered by 50%, the boss' normal attacks could already deal close to 40,000 damage to Jiang Fei. Its Saber Lash was even able to deal a shocking 60,000 damage on the first hit and another 120,000 damage on the second Critical Hit.

In total, Jiang Fei had less than 200,000 Health points. The two attacks had taken a huge chunk of Jiang Fei's Health Points.

Fortunately, the boss did not have very high Attack Speed. Although its attacks were painful, the Cauldron of Spirit quickly recovered Jiang Fei to full Health Points.

”I can't go on like this!” Jiang Fei said to himself. Although he was able to survive the last Saber Lash, Jiang Fei was worried he might be killed by the boss' next skill.

”Magicians, stop attacking! Use weakening spells on the boss!” Jiang Fei shouted loudly. As the boss was Level 90, it was very likely that it could resist most of the Magicians' skills. Therefore, the Magicians would have to try continuously for their skills to work on the boss.

After eight of the Magicians received Jiang Fei's order, they began using their weakening skills on the boss. Some of the skills included lowering the boss' Attack Speed and Attack Power. However, as there was a huge gap in level between the boss and these Magicians, most of their skills were not effective. There would only be one successful attempt out of ten or so. In fact, due to the level difference, the spells lasted less than five seconds when they originally lasted up to thirty seconds.

As such, the Magicians were all focused on using weakening spells on the boss.

”Whew…” Jiang Fei sighed in relief. Although the Magicians had stopped attacking, they were able to assist Jiang Fei with their weakening spells. Under the influence of their spells, the boss' Attack Power was lowered by around 10% whereas its Attack Speed was lowered by 20%. Hence, Jiang Fei was finally able to relax somewhat.

Jiang Fei took the opportunity to lure the boss to a location which benefited himself and the other players. Here, they would be able to work together more effectively.

Right then, the boss was stuck in between Jiang Fei and the others including Anew Returner. Jiang Fei and Anew Returner each stood on either side of the boss. Now, the boss was attacking Jiang Fei's side.

”Hurry up and die!” Jiang Fei continued to attack while staring at the boss. As soon as the boss showed any signs of using its skill, Jiang Fei would have to react instantly.

Roar!

Just as the boss' Health Points was reduced to 80%, it suddenly cried out angrily. At the same time, a golden flame appeared around its body.

”Use Taunt!” Jiang Fei shouted loudly.

”Got it!” Anew Returner replied. As soon as Jiang Fei called out, he started activating his Taunt skill.

The boss immediately turned around to attack Anew Returner after the Taunt skill was used.

The boss first used its Saber Lash on Anew Returner. Although Anew Returner was 10 levels lower than Jiang Fei, he was still a professional tanker wearing Plate Armor. Therefore, there were a lot of Damage Reduction effects which applied on him, which meant he received much less damage compared to Jiang Fei. With Anew Returner's pet's Merge skill, taking the damage from the boss' Saber Lash was not an issue for him.
