AST 2485 - Divine Grade Grand Formation, Nirvana Jade Liquor, Breakthrough (1/2)

After half a month, Qing Shui finally let out a smirk. He had discovered the way to break through the formation. The method Qing Shui had tried before was not incorrect per se. The problem was that the formation was too tough. It was similar to Qing Shui’s own formation but with a strengthened formation eye.

The method Qing Shui would utilize was to implant a Spirit Absorption Formation to disrupt the Grand Formation.

For the past half a month, the others had been cultivating nonstop. Qing Shui was trying to break through the formation by himself. After many attempts, including several times where he would be repelled by the formation to the point of vomiting blood, he finally found a solution.

After cultivating for a bit and eating some food, Qing Shui attempted to break the formation for the umpteenth time. This time, he placed the Spirit Absorption Formation with a strengthened formation eye. This method should be able to disrupt the Grand Formation. Had it not been with the strengthened formation eye, even with Qing Shui’s mastery of formation, he would still not be able to disrupt the Grand Formation.

With the Spirit Absorption Formation disruption, Qing Shui began to break the formation. Once he took out one of the spirit stones that was used as a formation flag, he was a bit shocked. It had been a complete beast skull that was similar to a dragon’s skull. The Qi aura coming off of the skull was formidable. Its power was immense and pure.

This formation was unimaginably breathtaking. This was further proof to Qing Shui’s hypothesis. Divine Grade Gold Elements and Immortal Grade Jade Stone were used as formation flags. What else could be in this cave, if not the Divine Grade Jade Liquor?

To begin with, what exactly was this Divine Grade Jade Liquor?

As time passed by, Qing Shui gathered more Divine Grade materials. This was a huge gain.

Without any loud noise, nor any fluctuations to the surrounding, the formation had been broken. In front of him was a cave entrance, covered by a thick fog. The aura and spiritual power leaking from the cave could shake one’s heart. Qing Shui’s soul felt as though it had been thoroughly cleansed.

“The formation is broken!”

As the others found out, they all came to gather. They were shocked to see a cave entrance. At the same time, they were all curious as to what was inside.

“Let’s go inside and have a look!” Qing Shui said towards the others as they walked inside.

This area was not an especially large cave, but it contained one large palace. The amount of spirit power gathered was astounding.

Drip, drop...

“What was that noise?”

Qing Shui looked over and walked towards the noise. The large palace was about 300 meters large and roughly 100 meters tall. The further inside he went, the thicker the spirit power became.

“Ah, there seems to be a turn ahead of us.”

Once they completed the turn, Qing Shui was shocked at the large pond in front of him. The pond was filled by more than half with a pure white liquid. The fog surrounding the entire area gave off an immortal realm aura. The pond was surrounded by spirit power.

Qing Shui quickly discovered that this ‘Jade Liquor’ contained a dangerous aura. Unlike an aura given off as killing intent, this aura was similar to an immense strength.

“A very powerful force?”

“What is this?”

“Is this Jade Liquor?”

“Yes, there appear to be some words. It says, ‘Nirvana Pond’!”

By the time Qing Shui had heard their voice, he had already seen those two words at space just above the bond. Not only was ‘Nirvana Pond’ written there, but there was also a short passage underneath.

The passage explained that the Jade Liquor contained immense power. For those whose body was not strong enough, intaking the Liquor would result in them ceasing to exist. They would also not leave behind a corpse.

Qing Shui looked at the bond, then spoke to the rest of the people, “Let me try first.”

Qing Shui was confident in himself. He slowly went into the pond. A surge of heat enveloped his body. Luckily, he had the Nine Yang Golden Body constitution. With almost complete resistance to fire elements, he could withstand the heat.
