Chapter 120 - Sana and the Infirmary (1/2)
Sana and the Infirmary
◆ Sanada Sana ◆
“Hey, hey, earlier, you tried to split apart the two customers who were stuck together, right? Why did you do that?”
Nacchan was grinning within the darkness. She came again…!? How many does this make…!?
Nacchan was most likely talking about when Nii-san, Sensei, and Nacchan came in together.
“Sana doesn’t know what you’re talking about. It seems you don’t want to enjoy this the normal way, so just get out.”
“Aah, sorry, sorry. That wasn’t my intention at all.”
“Get out already!”
Nii-san, of all the people, why Sensei… She was hugging him so tightly! H-h-h-her b-b-b-reasts were touching him…! Well, Nii-san wasn’t that flustered so it might be okay.
Grabbing her by the shoulders, I pushed Nacchan out the exit. After knocking the correct amount of times, the back door to the classroom unlocked and opened. When I do this, it notifies the person in charge outside of an emergency.
“Sana-chan? How long are you going to be working? Didn’t you start at one? It’s already past five you know?”
The hallway had become dark since dusk was approaching, and the lights were turned on. Since they didn’t want to spoil any new customers, I was wearing a sports jersey, and a black hood over my head. There were barely any customers, and it was only Nacchan repeatedly coming in and out.
“… The other person on shift, is slacking… and so Sana can’t help but to continue…”
In truth, it was planned for me to end at four along with Nii-san. The person that was supposed to switch with me, was definitely flirting with her boyfriend and going around the school festival…
“How about I switch with you?”
“Eh?”
“I’ve already pretty much copied everything. Rather, if it’s just that, wouldn’t it be fine if it was a guy?”
Nacchan, despite her bad personality, she’s a good person??
“The clothing is meant for a girl to wear.”
“Is that so? You see, I wanted to try being the one to scare people.”
“Ummm, then… can it be left to you?”
“Yeah. Leave it to me.”
I explained the situation to the boys in charge at the back of the haunted house. The people back there also recognized Nacchan, who had looped the attraction multiple times, and gave the okay.
“Kanata-chan… I think… is probably in the home economics room.”
Now that I think about it, I haven’t prepared tomorrow’s curry.
While taking off the costume in the darkness, I change back into my uniform. I then handed over the costume to Nacchan and had her change.
“Uhah. It’s so warm. It smells like Sana-chan.”
“Hey! Be quiet and just change!”
She goes to some ladies’ school, and she’s Sensei’s little sister, but her character is completely off. She’s easier to get along with than some rich lady-like persona, so it’s fine though.
“Might as well show my gratefulness… Thank you, Nacchan.”
“It’s fine.”
See you, she sent me off as I walked down the hall towards the home economics room.
From the grounds outside the window, lights glowed at fixed intervals in front of every store, making it feel like a night market.
“Nii-san… I wonder where he is…?”
While walking I operated my cell phone and called Nii-san.
“If there’s anything he wants, I’ll buy it for him.”
… It’s not like I’m doing this for Nii-san in particular, it’s just because it’s convenient. It’s only because it’s on the way. After all, I wouldn’t want to be told something like, “Couldn’t you have bought me some takoyaki on the way?”
At the same time the ringing began, I heard a ringtone from elsewhere.
“?”
It was from the infirmary situated just beside the home economics room. Earlier, Nacchan said something like, “Haru-chan’s hips gave out and she couldn’t stand so she’s resting in the infirmary,” or so I remember. I heard the ringing on my phone forcefully be cutoff, and the ringtone from inside also stopped.
“…?”
I put my hand on the door and started to enter.
“Nii-san…?”
Once I opened the door, there didn’t seem like there was anyone inside. Did he maybe leave his cellphone here and forgot it…? If that’s the case, I should pick it up for him.
Among the three beds, one had the curtain closed. Nii-san is supposed to be here… Sensei is also supposed to be here… Since I started imagining some weird things, I shook my head vigorously.
“Nii-san, are you sleeping?”
I slid open the curtain, and there was Sensei, lying on her side.
“Hmmm? Sensei…?”
Then where’s Nii—
“Hey, what are you doing?”
“Fuhyaah!?”
I let out a voice of surprise when I heard someone talk to me from behind. Turning back, Nii-san was there.
“W-w-what is it, appearing all of a sudden like that.”
“Sensei is tired, so she’s sleeping. Alright? There were preparations for the curry yesterday, and even the store management for today. She’s done quite a bit of work.”
… I do understand that, but somehow, I don’t like it.
“Hmmm, is that so.”
After closing the curtain, we sat down on the sofa placed in the center of the infirmary.
