”Mommy!”
Shortly after the phone call ended, the door to Sid's penthouse occupying the top most level of W Residences opened with a bang, a handsome small figure emerged and bolted inside the unit.

W Residences is a 53-storey prime condominium residential building developed by The Walsh Lifescapes, a wholly owned subsidiary and the real estate arm managed by The Walsh Group and is currently ranked second amongst the rest of the other top developers in the country.
The modern premier club amenities of the property includes an open resort-like swimming pool, a seperate and enclosed private luxury pool, a sports area, gaming area, an entertainment and film room, a clinic, luxury spa room, function rooms, gym, music room, a library, chapel and a cafe and restaurant. It was such a grand project among other forty other real estate projects of The Walsh Lifescapes that has been in the industry of property development which objective is to provide for urban settlers a comfortable, convenient and secured lifestyle right at the center of the business district in the Metro.
Sid's penthouse being at the top most level is an exclusive unit that can only be accessed through a private lift separate from the elevators being used by the other residents. The main rooftop also have a designated helipad which is an exclusive privilege limited for vip property owners's use only.
Sid Walsh, being the Chairman and President of The Walsh Lifescapes basically has all the rights and access to each and every facility of the entire building. He seldom frequented the place but whenever he does, it only lasted for a couple of days during an official business. The man himself prefers going home at the Villa instead despite the distance from work.
However today, he felt like he had just moved in and with his 'wife' and son at that. Having the both of them together in his penthouse for the very first time made it looked like just a normal home. It was kind of appealing now.

”Mommy, mommy!” Little Louie shouted merrily. He was so excited to meet his 'mother' whom he misses so much. Truly, a day away felt like forever for a motherless child.
The child's eyes frantically roamed around to search the place and the moment he spotted a familiar figure from a distance, he hurriedly dashed towards that particular direction.
A certain father on the other hand who had just opened the door himself was completely ignored by the little fellow. The reception was indeed quite baffling. He got nothing, not one hello from his own son. Sid was having complex emotions at the moment. But his heart swelled immediately upon witnessing the scene before him.

Laurice saw the little young master running towards the kitchen and she was incredibly delighted that she beemed. With a huge smile on her face, she bent down to pick up the child who charges at her and instantly wrapped his little arms around her neck and burried himself for a tight embrace. She hugged the little one affectionately and spin him a couple of times enthusiastically.
”Sweetie! You're here!” Laurice said dotingly.
Coming from the woman who was a guest herself. She got even more excited when she felt the soft and cuddly body of the little child in her arms. Her heart mellowed when she smelled his faint and fresh smell that is oddly calming her senses down.
Little Louie propped his head to look at the woman and said earnestly, ”Mommy, i missed you!”
Laurice felt her heart swelled with the gesture and words of the child. She gently stroke Louie's back and replied to him, ”I missed you too sweetie. Did you come to see me? Have you eaten yet?”
Little Louie's eyes twinkle when he heard his 'mother' say that she missed him too. He nodded in response and said to her instead, ”I'm hungry mommy.”
Butler Han who just came inside heard what the child have said and was completely astounded.
'Little Young Master! Didn't you just said awhileback that you weren't hungry at all? You refused to eat and gave everyone a cold shoulder so early in the morning. You even ransacked your closet for an outfit and demanded to see the Young Miss in an instant!'
The butler was shrieking from the inside.
Sid noticed the perplexed expression on his family butler's face and he could somehow deduce what had happened back at the Villa. He knew Louie has always been an obedient child who never throws a tantrum ever since but it seemed something indeed changed however in his eyes, it only made his son even more adorable and childlike.
Looking at him right now, Sid couldn't have ever imagined an even better way to raise this particular child of his. Being a single parent was never a problem for him at all but it appears that he was still lacking in so many ways as a father. He realized there are just somethings he can never provide himself alone.
Something like a mother's affection, for that matter.
