Dong Xuebing arrived at Liu Xiang Hu Tong with his men from the Subdistrict Office.

The black Passat stopped at the entrance of the Hu Tong, and Dong Xuebing, Zhou Yanru, and the Office Deputy Directors alighted. Other Deputy Directors and Staff Members descended from the white Passats behind them. Two Police cars from Guang Ming Police Station are there for emergencies. Pots, plates, and bowls, are knocked over as people started rushing out.

Dong Xuebing pulled a long face as he looks at those people. He had warned them yesterday, but these people continued to operate their business today. Illegal roadside stalls are still operating, and construction work on Xue Gui’s new illegal building continues. Those two workers continue to work as if Dong Xuebing and the rest are not there. Xue Gui and his hooligans are standing there looking at Dong Xuebing arrogantly.

Dong Xuebing turns to his men. “All of you go over and tell those illegal store owners that this is the last warning!”

“I understand.” Peng Gang whispered something to his Officers, and they entered the Hu Tong.

The Urban Management Enforcement Team remained there. They are tight on manpower because Nanshan District is trying to crack down on illegal buildings. The person in charge of the team is only a Deputy Chief Staff Member, and they are there to assist the Subdistrict Office.

Zhou Yanru and Wang Yuling were about to join the rest when Dong Xuebing stopped Wang Yuling. “Director Wang, you don’t need to join them.”

Zhou Yanru looked at Dong Xuebing and continued her way into the Hu Tong.

Wang Yuling also doesn’t want to speak to those people, but she smiles. “Director, I will be fine.”

Dong Xuebing waved his hand. “Stay here. Those store owners are very agitated, and it might be dangerous.”

Wang Yuling nodded and stood behind Dong Xuebing.

Dong Xuebing might seem biased as all Deputy Directors had entered the Hu Tong except for Wang Yuling. But everyone knows no Leaders will dare to let her enter because of her uncle. If any accidents happen to her, Dong Xuebing will have to answer to the District Party Secretary. She is also a spoiled brat who knows if she might get into an argument with those stall owners.

Dong Xuebing had wanted to let Wang Yuling handle Xue Gui, but they don’t seem to know each other. If Xue Gui knows Wang Yuling is the District Party Secretary’s Niece, he will not send his men to block the Subdistrict Office’s entrance. Xue Gui will not reason with anyone because this concerns his profits.

They will pretend that the Government is determined to demolish those illegal buildings, and there’s no room for negotiation.

The Subdistrict Office had failed to demolish this place previously, and they must be firm this time. If they failed again, those store owners will be more arrogant and might even turn violent. How are they going to remove them in the future? Clashing with residents, resulting in casualties, might cause Dong Xuebing and other Subdistrict Office’s Leaders their jobs. They only need to scare these people and prevent any clashes at all costs.
