A nurse entered the ward.
Qu Yunxuan is looking out of the window in a daze.
“Your lunch is here.”

“I will leave it on the table.”

“Are you going to eat it?”
“Yes.”
The nurse sighed as she looks at the pretty patient and thought she is suffering from prenatal depression. “Why is your breakfast still here? You must eat something. We have gotten your medical report. You don’t have any major health issues, but you still need to eat. You are six months pregnant, and you need lots of nutrients for your child.”
Qu Yunxuan shook her head emotionlessly.
The nurse continued. “Are you feeling unwell? Do you want me to feed you?”
“Thank you. I don’t have any appetite.”
“Sigh…” The nurse sighed.
Suddenly, the door opened, and Dong Xuebing enters with a smile. “Thank you, nurse. I will feed her.”
Qu Yunxuan was stunned when she heard this voice and turned around immediately.
The nurse looks at Dong Xuebing. “Are you her family member?” She doesn’t know Dong Xuebing.
Dong Xuebing nodded. “Yes.”
“What are you all doing?” The nurse glared at Dong Xuebing. “The patient had been hospitalized for a few days, and why did you wait until now to visit her? You all must accompany her more often and chat with her. This will help with her recovery. She might lose her child if this carries on.”
Dong Xuebing smiled apologetically. “Sorry. I will visit her every day from now.”
The nurse pushed the lunch box into Dong Xuebing’s hands and left the ward.
Dong Xuebing smiled and sat on the bed. He blew a spoonful of porridge to cool it and moved it nearer to Qu Yunxuan’s mouth. “Have some.”
Qu Yunxuan was still looking at Dong Xuebing in a daze.
Dong Xuebing moved the spoon closer. “Open your mouth….”
Qu Yunxuan swallowed the porridge, and her tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Am I dreaming?”
“No. I am back.”
“You are…” Qu Yunxuan cried. “I thought you are killed in that air crash.”
“The plane crashed, but I managed to escape. Haha… you should know how strong I am. How can an air crash kill me? Stop crying. This is nothing serious.” Dong Xuebing put down the lunchbox and hugged Qu Yunxuan. He kissed her forehead. “You all are making a fuss out of nothing. Even bullets and bombs cannot kill me, let alone an air crash. I will find ways to escape. Stop crying.”
Qu Yunxuan hugged Dong Xuebing around his head and pressed it against her chest. She cried and kissed his head. “You bastard! I will be scared to death by you sooner or later! Do you know I almost gave up living because of you?!”
