The City had prepared their passport, but there are no direct flights from Hebei Province to Tokyo. They must fly from Beijing.

Luo Haiting felt uncomfortable. “Chief, let Xiao Zhang drive.”

Zhang Fan also felt it’s not right for Dong Xuebing to drive them to Beijing.

Dong Xuebing waved his hand. He had not driven his car in Yan Tai County these few days and want to drive it. “It’s alright. Oh, what’s your name?”

“Chief Dong, my name is Yu Rui.”

Yu Rui is a staff member who knows Japanese in his early twenties.

Dong Xuebing nodded. “Xiao Yu, we will count on you to translate for us in Japan.”

Yu Rui quickly reply. “Yes, Sir. I will do my best to complete this task.”

“Xiao Yu is hardworking.” Luo Haiting laughed. “He had been working hard since he came to the Office Department, and he is the one who translated all our marketing materials. He is quite capable.” Luo Haiting might not be interested in her work. Still, she has a good relationship with her staff in the Office Department. She seldom reprimands her staff when they make mistakes and will praise them in front of the Leaders.

Yu Rui is grateful to Director Luo for praising him in front of Chief Dong, and he replied modestly. “I had just graduated from University and still have a lot to learn.”

Their luggage contained all the promotional materials for the investment fair and needed to be checked in. Yu Rui went to the check-in counters to check-in for them. The City Government Leaders will be traveling tomorrow, while Yan Tai County and other Counties’ investment Promotion Agency staff will be flying today. They must set up the venue before the leaders.

One can spend a thousand days in comfort at home, but spending a day away from home can be challenging.

Luo Haiting knows this. They might be Leaders in Yan Tai County but are nothing in Beijing. That’s why they need to stay low here. You could accidentally step on a stranger’s foot, and that person might be a high-ranking government official.
