Sunlight penetrated the room where Yun Xi was resting. She slightly shifted herself and slowly opened her eyes.

“Eh?” she raised her head and was wondering if she was still alive.

She just remembered seeing Lin Feng before dying and leaving the world. What happened after that? Maybe she was hallucinating? She even had the feeling that she had died a very long time ago.

She slowly sat down and looked around her. It was a simple room, it looked like a hidden room. She had completely recovered already. It seemed like her Qi was even stronger than before. What a strange feeling, was she dreaming?

She stood up and took a step, her body felt extremely heavy. She tried walking faster, she wanted to go outside.

Outside was a beautiful courtyard, there was a pavilion, a pond with lotus flowers and a silhouette raising their hands towards the sun. That person was motionless as if they had been thinking about something.

“You’re awake.” said Lin Feng in a gentle way.

“Lin… Feng!” She pronounced his name slowly. It seemed she hadn’t died in the Luo Xia Sect.

“I’m still alive.” thought Yun Xi and then smiled in a resplendent way. She hadn’t died. The Luo Xia Sect hadn’t killed Lin Feng.

“Are you feeling comfortable?” asked Lin Feng. Yun Xi nodded and said, “I’m sorry I didn’t manage to convince the teachers of the Luo Xia Sect. How are they now? Did they hurt you?”

Lin Feng’s lips moved but then he smiled wryly. Yun Xi had been sealed away in ice for a few years. How could she know what happened after. Maybe she thought that she was still in the ancient city.

“Yun Xi, you’ve been in a coma for a few years now. We’re not in your city anymore. We’re in my hometown, Yangzhou City. The Luo Xia Sect was dismantled many years ago.” said Lin Feng. He didn’t want to tell her that the Luo Xia Sect was destroyed. He didn’t want Yun Xi to feel bad about what had happened. That’s why he just told her it had been “dismantled”. She had sacrificed herself for him after all.

“I… was in a coma for a few years?” Yun Xi was starting to make sense of it all. No wonder she felt that she was hallucinating. Lin Feng had changed so much. He was so much stronger than the elders of the Luo Xia Sect or even than the strong cultivators of Xue Yue. Her sect had been… dismantled?

“Yes, Yun Xi, let’s go outside for a walk.” said Lin Feng while grabbing Yun Xi’s hand. She shivered and lowered her head. She could remember Lin Feng’s kiss all of a sudden and blushed.

While walking in the palace, Yun Xi realized that the pure Qi was extremely thick and dense. There were also many soldiers walking around. Each time they saw Lin Feng, they would look at him in a respectful way and stop walking. Only after Lin Feng walked farther away would they would start patrolling again.
