25 Having Meals With Strangers (2/2)
She was at somebody's house whose life is far different from hers.
She's been living under the care of a family known as very important people on planet Earth.
Even if she does not become an heir of this Great Land's throne, she's already a princess of herself who never experience a life of ordinary.
She has been pampered for 18 years, her whole life of existence…
”Ahem! Are the foods haven't cooked well? Do you prefer something else?” Baba Lucia asked their guest. She notices that Harrah stop eating and just stares at her plate.
”Does the food are too salty? Or maybe it tastes bitter?” Senya asked worriedly that it won't please her.
”Oh, no. In fact, the food is great. They are tasty, Baba Lucia, Senya.” she complimented. ”I am just thinking about something,” she reasons.
”Your family?”
Baba Lucia who speaks up. Harrah nodded, then resume eating.
The food truly tasted good. Although it looks foreign to her, her body accepting these greenish leaves and probably fish this meat she could see on the platter.
She took a little of the meat and brought it to her mouth. It is salty, but it makes her appetite asking for more, and so she does take a bigger portion this time.
Seeing how she enjoyed; Baba Lucia and Senya continue eating as well. They avoid asking anything yet but letting her finish the meal.
After a full dinner, Harrah attempted to help to clean the table, but Senya firmly refused. Sitting near the window, Harrah looking outside. She was staring at the withering garden.
The soil looks dry, but the flowers in the guest room are blooming colorfully. She wonders if it is because of the throne being empty for almost two decades soon, that everything is dying.
”Harrahinah? Is something wrong?” asked Baba Lucia upon approaching her.
”Baba Lucia, I wanted to ask if how I get in here?” she asked curiously.
Until now, she hasn't seen either Iore or Zen. She wondered if where are they. How long did she stay unconscious?
”A caravan dropped you here, sister Harrah!” Senya who answered to her question.
Baba Lucia glares at her granddaughter for rebutting her conversation with their guest. She's actually wanted to talk to her privately without someone butting in, like now. She sighed hopelessly.
”Granny, if you are tired now, you can go to bed!” her encouragement to the old woman.
”Shut up! I want to talk to our guest, properly! I don't need you! Shoo!”
”Eh! I want to stay! I promised to stay quiet!” Senya grins.
Baba Lucia rolled her eyes. Knowing Senya's attitude, she won't zipper her mouth. She already knows that it won't happen.
”Ahem! Like what Senya told you, a caravan who brought you here. They cannot bring you to their treacherous journey and so, they left you here.”
”I see. So, someone just found me? Means, I don't have any company during that time?”
”No. According to them, you already lost consciousness when they found you. What happens? Could you not remember anything?”
Harrahinah shook her head, then take a silence. She and Iore along with Zen flew headed to the Great Kingdom. The whole journey, she has been unconscious but staying inside the Guardians' dimension, which they put themselves into meditation for a couple of weeks. That is only equivalent to a few days on this planet.
And so, it is not only three days she was asleep, but possibly for five days.
And if she weren't forgotten, the hours of this planet were almost two times compare to Earth. To complete its rotation, it is not only 24 hours it needed, but could be like 36-48 hours.
Not to mention, they have two moons!
She was fascinated, peering at the two huge moons in the sky.
