Chapter 244 - A sweet yet embarrassing moment (1/2)

” ...Is that your final answer ? ” asked Helios again with a serious expression .

” Yes ! You are definitely related to politics . ” said Aria .

”.....Why do you think I choose you ? ” asked Helios this time , looking at her with a sincere smile .

” Given the promise you made to me......I can only guess that...you have a lot of enemies and have no one to sincerely depend on when facing the law . If you were so desperate to even hire me to be your lawyer , it means that you must have a difficult challenge ahead . ” said Aria .

” Are you perhaps looking down on yourself ? ” asked Helios with a smirk .

” I never look down on myself and I never will . I am just speaking the rational thinking of a wealthy person . ” said Aria with a serious expression and noncaring tone .

' Hahaha ! What a girl !....... It's such a waste that I didn't meet you early . My problems would have already been solved long ago . ' thought Helios with a satisfied smile when he heard Aria's explanation .

” Did I guess correctly ? ” asked Aria when she noticed that he kept staring at her silently .

” Yes...too correctly to be true !.....Sometimes you are so silly , sometimes you are so naive yet...sometimes you are so smart that it surprises me a lot . You are amazingly fearless  , silly when to comes to simple things , a food lover......You have a weird combination of EQ and IQ in you...Maybe....this is what makes me so curious to know more about you . No , this is what makes me trust that you are different from the other people out there . You are someone whom I can trust .  ”said Helios with a sincere smile .

Aria looked at Helios a bit touched . She was usually a loner girl who was only focused on her studies . She didn't go out much nor did she understand how to make others trust her . In the past , because of her weird , childish character, others would misunderstand her . To have a person like Helios who was both rich and successful , trust her  , made Aria feel happy and more confident .

” I hate to admit it but it feels good to hear this from you . ” said Aria with a smile .

When Helios saw her smiling at him with a happy expression and a warm smile , he couldn't help himself from leaning towards her .

” What a nice smile ! ” said Helios looking at her with a smile .

Aria was surprised when she noticed how close their faces were . She felt her body frozen from his deep blue eyes . Aria couldn't move an inch . His eyes were so captivating and had casten a spell on her . Making her unable to look away nor to push Helios .

He looked at her brown chocolate eyes then took a glimpse at her cherry-colored lips .

' She isn't pushing me away..... ' thought Helios a bit happy .

' I miss that strawberry taste of her lips... ' thought Helios as he softly touched her hair and her cheek .

He looked at her lips again and was ready to kiss her . Both of them closed their eyes without even realizing it themselves and went with the flow .

The moment their lips were about to touch , a noise came from out and the door opened .

” I wonder what's gotten into him calling us today here . Helios may have finished his work but I still have a project going on . What should I say to the investor if it isn't finished soon ?! You know that this is a big project that could benefit us....a lot...” said Bekora then froze when he saw Helios and Aria .

Mana found it weird that Bekora froze and stopped talking . When she went closer to him , she saw Helios pushing Aria against the wall .

When Aria saw Bekora and Mana , her face became red and she pushed Helios away with full force .

' What the hell were you about to do Aria ?!!!!! Were you about to kiss that blonde donkey ?!!!.....Aghhhh !!! This can't be happening . His eyes indeed have a rare blue color but that doesn't mean that you should lose yourself like that . I am so embarrassed !!!! I wish I could hide somewhere !......How can I be like those other girls ?! How can I give in like this to that playboy ?!!!! Luckily Bekora came and saved me from the grave sin I was about to do . Now he will even get punished for saving me . That blonde donkey is heartless............Damn ! I am so embarrassed that I wanna go home . ' thought Aria embarrassed .

( Author's thought : LOL !!! Girl , if we were to count the times he has kissed you without you even realizing it......Pfffft ! I was really looking forward to seeing the two of you kiss while you both were aware of each other . )

Her face was so embarrassed that she turned her back and started to act as if she was looking at the computer . When Aria pushed him , Helios smiled in a forced way and turned his head towards Bekora .

' F.u.c.k that big project of yours , you damn Bekora ! Why can't you just find a better timing for once in your life ?!  ' thought Helios super annoyed as he glared at him .

( Author's thought : Bekora , I too love you my dear but even I can't help you in this case . You ruined a moment that even I was eagerly awaiting for . No begging can help you from my and Helios's anger . )

' Oh , my ! Bekora actually interrupted them ?!.....Helios will definitely kill him . Creating a mood with Aria sure is hard . Now that he ruined it , he will be tortured rather mercilessly .  ' thought Mana who couldn't even bring herself to laugh at such a sight .

” Emmmm.....We were about to leave.......Did I come in a bad time ? ” said Bekora with an awkward smile as the atmosphere kept getting more and more awkward .
