As she wrapped her arms around Mu Chen's neck, her eyes were half-closed. This seductive look was extremely bewitching.

The breeze gently blew on the hill, while the couple hugged each other tightly. It was as though they wanted to release the passion that they had suppressed all these years all at once.

After the kiss went on for a long time, Luo Li finally let go. She could feel that her face was piping hot. She then buried herself in Mu Chen's chest, her usual dignified and elegant look as the Queen of the Luo God Palace being replaced with a quite shy look.

As Mu Chen looked at her, his eyes seemed to be surging with fire. His breath became heavy. He then tipped himself over and locked the girl under him on a grassy patch.

Just when he could not control himself any longer and wanted to make a move, a pair of hands blocked him in front of his chest. He lowered his head and met a pair of bright eyes.

”No...” Luo Li bit her little red lips and said softly.

This moment of interruption cleared Mu Chen's mind suddenly. The fire in his eyes dissipated and he gave her an awkward grin. He knew that the suppressed emotion all of these years had become too overwhelming, so much so that he had lost control all of a sudden.

They were at the mountain range that was behind Luo God Palace. Patrols would come through here from time to time. If they saw Mu Chen bullying their Queen, they might even launch a lethal offense against him, without even considering the difference in their levels.

Seeing that Mu Chen had stopped his advances, Luo Li finally put down her hands on his chest. Her pretty face was still blushing with shyness.

She was slightly taken aback by the sudden emotion that had just erupted from Mu Chen, so she had resisted as a reflex reaction. If they had been in a different place, she might not have had the courage to resist Mu Chen at all. As she thought of this, her face grew even redder.

Mu Chen looked at her tempting, delicate face and sighed. He then murmured, ”A juicy piece of fine meat just escaped from my mouth!”

Luo Li could not help but to punch Mu Chen on his shoulder with her small fists when she heard his metaphor. Soon after this, she bit her little red lips and lowered her pretty face.

Then, with a small voice, she said, ”When you become a Heavenly Sovereign and rescue your mother, I'll agree to anything you want.”

Towards the end of the sentence, Luo Li's voice shook slightly, indicating how shy she was. Mu Chen stared at her with his eyes wide-open. He did not expect that Luo Li would tempt him with this.

So, he asked righteously, ”Do I look like I'm that kind of person?”

As he spoke, the heated blood in his body and his slightly red-skin were the only telltale signs that could prove that he was pretending. But, Luo Li was a smart one, so she could see through his forced playacting with one look.

Then, she drew her lips together slightly and pushed him away with her hands. She then brought her legs closer to her chest and tied up her long hair.

With a smile, she said, ”Pretend that I never said those words.”

Mu Chen was slightly stunned, so he said reluctantly, ”You are the Queen of the Luo God Clan. You should be keeping your word. How can you change your mind whenever you like?”

After that, he saw a teasing smile slowly surface at the corner of Luo Li's moist, red lips. Then, without any warning, he threw himself onto her.

”How dare you make fun of me?” he asked, while tickling her.

”Hehe!” She giggled.

The young man and the girl were laughing and playing with each other on the grassy patch. Their joyful giggling was delightful to hear. Over the past few years, both of them had led uptight lives, and such a carefree moment was scarce.

This heartwarming scene continued for quite a while before Mu Chen and Luo Li finally stopped giggling. They then sat on the hill and watched the sun setting on the other side of the sky.

”Have you decided to go to Spiritual Jade Island?” asked Luo Li, while she leaned her cheek on Mu Chen's shoulder.

Mu Chen nodded. ”Sister Ling Xi is there, and I need to save her.”

Even though Spiritual Jade Island might be full of traps, Mu Chen had to go. After all, Ling Xi had given him a lot of help in the past, so their relationship ran deep.

”Don't you want to tell Mandela?” Since she is a Complete Earthly Sovereign, it would be safer if she tagged along.

Mu Chen shook his head. ”The Mu Estate has just started. Although we have conquered the North Territory, the various top-notch forces in the Tianluo Continent are still eyeing us. Mandela had to stay in the Mu Estate to protect it. Otherwise, the new establishment in the North Territory could collapse at any time.”

Luo Li nodded gently and smiled. ”Okay, then let me go with you this time.”

Mu Chen was a little stunned by this. Initially, he thought that Luo Li could not leave the Luo God Clan. After all, the clan needed her.

However, they have been separated for many years now, so naturally, Mu Chen wanted to stay longer with Luo Li. But, he knew that, in order to protect his loved ones in the future, he needed to endure the momentary loneliness.

Apparently, Luo Li regarded him as being so important, she would agree to follow him at this time. Seeing Mu Chen's shocked gaze, Luo Li gave him a cheeky smile and said, ”Most of the important issues in the Luo God Clan are settled. So, there won't be any changes anytime soon. Moreover, you were always alone in the past. This time, let me share the burden with you.”

Mu Chen was touched when he heard this. He did not bother to reject her by giving her a reason of it being too dangerous, as he knew that such an excuse would not work on her.

Hence, he stretched out his arm and held her slender waist. He then let out a burst of heroic laughter that echoed throughout the sky.

”Fine! Let's brave this together!” he said with a smile.
