187 Sky is back. (1/2)

Neto staggered back, he looked at Sky and then her mother and then Anton and Dwanye. Dwayne smiled bitterly and nod his head. ”Yes Neto...she has amnesia but it seems it's just part of her memory. Especially that of you.”

”She has all her memory until she met you and then blank then back to Dwayne. Sadly it's like she's wiped everything about you.” Anton said as he moved closer to Neto and placed his hands on his shoulder. ”Don't worry man, the doctor said it might be temporary.”

”I already told her about you, but we are yet to show her your picture.” Mrs Onome said as she danced with the baby in her arms.

”Neto? the father of my twins?” Sky asked as she looked at Neto. ” Mom I don't understand, if Dwayne is my fiance, how come he's the father of my kids? did I cheat on you Dwayne?” She asked as she shifted her gaze to Dwayne.

Everyone was quiet. After a moment of silence, Jenna spoke. ”Sist, Dwayne is your fiance for show. No offense Dwayne. He is the son of Mr Jayden and you all wanted him to be a modest citizen.” Jenna said smiling as she winked at Dwayne.

”I'm sorry I don't recognize you Neto” Sky said as she stretched her hands to him.

Dazed, Neto looked at the outstretched hand.He stood transfixed on the same spot, he still couldn't understand what was going on, he couldn't believe his ears.”She's alive, that's all that matters.” Neto inner voice said to him. He took in a deep breath and took her outstretched hand smiling. ”It's ok Mena. As long as you are alive, I'm happy.”

Sky smiled brightly at him. As he took her hand in his, she used all her strength to pull him down for a hug. She hugged him tight as tears rolled down her eyes. ”I can't take it anymore guys” She said laughing and crying at the same time.

”I was about to signal you to cut! He looks like a ghost Sky.” Anton said smiling.

”I was going to say I won't stand here and watch you all give my best friend's son a heart attack. Enough please.” Mrs Victoria said smiling.

Perplexed, Neto didn't know what to do. The hug surprised him. It was after he heard Mrs Onome's voice that he came to. He freed himself from Sky's embrace and looked at the rest of the group. ”What?...wha....aaaa ...tt do you mean? he stuttered.

”Calm down Neto it's a prank. Sky herself pulled the prank on us when she woke up, we couldn't let you be the only one who don't experience it.” Dwayne said laughing.

”Woh u should have seen your face Neto, you are lucky I didn't get it on camera.” Jenna burst into laughter as she brought out her phone to capture Neto's facial expression.

Neto didn't react to Jenna's tease. He let out a sigh of relief and smiled. ”I admit you all got me real good, including you Mrs Victoria.” He smiled and shifted his gaze to Sky who was smiling brightly.

Mrs Onome signalled the rest of the group to give them privacy as she carried her grandson to the other room while Brianna collected Sky junior fromSky. Neto didn't know when the rest of the family left but Sky did. She smiled at Brianna who gave her a thumbs up before shutting the door.

”Hi” Sky said to him feeling awkward. He wouldn't stop looking at her, he was staring at her and smiling. ”Can you stop looking at me?”

”I'm sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable. I'm just happy you are back.” As if remembering something he quickly stood up and started checking her body. ”Are you hurt anywhere, does your arm hurt or your head or leg?” He touched her hand and leg.

”I'm fine Neto. Apart from my bandaged head, my leg and the fact that I ache all over cause I have been in this bed for weeks. And my head ache but the doctor said the pain will go away soon.”

Neto watched her as she spoke, he wanted to hug her badly and kiss her hard but he was scared he would hurt her....her bandaged head and her bandaged knee.

”I am sorry.” Neto said, looking down.
