114 The man on suit II (1/2)

It was her third day in City L and the police were yet to come up with anything good. Anton had sorted out the issues in China and would be returning soon. Yesterday they finally caught the man on suit, it was Mr Dokun's former assistant. With everything she's gathered, she should be able to expose Mr Dokun today. But Mr Itohan had refused to admit the truth, he said Mr Dokun wasn't the one who sent him, that yes Mr Dokun did give him some orders but he didn't tell him to kill her.

Her phone beeped, she opened the message. It was from Femi, the picture of the other man Rose met with. The back looked so familiar but she couldn't place it.

She played the two record and compared them. Femi had claimed Rose was given a drug to stop her heart from beating for a few minutes, and he was outside the door with the antidote. But that when it was time for him to give her the antidote, she refused to wake up and was already dead. It turned out the drug wasn't good for her system and when she took it, it killed her immediately.

But Mr Afam had claimed, after the girl told him she was pregnant, he was furious and told her it was impossible. And that he was about to leave her in the room when she fell to the ground and stopped breathing.

Sky sighed. To what lenght will man go to for power? why go through all this stress to ruin her and Jaydite? It has to be someone who's wants to ruin the company not someone who wants to rule. And Sky knows Mr Dokun wants to be CEO, that's the confusing part, why will he do something like this, to ruin the company's name.

This is too much Mr J. Now it seems like I'm in a movie, the whole thing seems surreal, I just want to be free from everything. I know I promised I'll take care of Jaydite but it's getting to difficult please show me a sign, help me figure this out, so I can go home. I miss my bed and I miss my family.

Mr Afam said it was Mr Dokun who approached him and threatened him but that Mr Dokun himself was receiving orders from the top. Are they trying to frame her? Mr Afam had told her that he overheard Mr Dokun on the phone and that he addressed the person as boss. Fuck! Sky said out loud as she threw her phone and pen to the other side of the bed and closed her eyes to sleep.

Sky was awoken by a soft knock, it was Chiamanda. How did it go? she asked rubbing her eyes.

Well ma'am, her father's company isn't really looking good but with what Mr Teffa said, I'm sure the development team can think of something and I'm sure we can do something about it.

Ok that's good. Was her husband there?

No I think he went out with their son. So ma'am, you are now the biggest shareholder of Valet Winery. Do you have anyone in mind, who would you like to send over there.

She has no shame, I just can't wait to see the look on Ruky's face when he finds out I'm his wife's boss. Valet Winery was the best in its time, now that it's under Jaydite, we have to make it work.

I think they found something boss, I saw Mr Teffa running out to meet Bones, he said it's good news. Chiamanda said to her boss.

I hope so too, I have to go back to the Capital tomorrow, I've been away for too long, I hope they are not planting something there while we are away. I just want this to end, Sky said sighing.

I don't understand people and their drive for power. Power drives people crazy, it shows you the true nature of man. I don't want more enemies, Sky said looking down. But they keep coming and punishment is unavoidable.

Sky's phone beeped and she read the message. Get dressed Chiamanda, we are going out.

Thirty minutes later. Sky sat down with Bones and Dwayne as she questioned Mr Dokun.Why are you so hungry for power Mr Dokun? You have alot of people under you, if you were a good person from the start, Mr Jayden wouldn't have gone out to look for somebody else to take his place. A little girl died, Mr Dokun. How old is your Sheila? I'm sure she is around the same age as Rose.
