Sky sat the office on Tuesday afternoon, she was working on her laptop when she remembered something and bust into laughter. Anton looked up at her and rolled his eyes. Please Sky it's been two days....it's not funny anymore, I mean, how can you remember the same thing all the time and laugh as if it's just happening.

Ahh, ha, ha ha ha ha haha.....wuuuuuuu. Sky continued laughing, holding her tummy. Chef, she said to Anton as she continued laughing.

I won't face this alone, Anton said. He stood up and left the meeting area, went to Sky's desk and told Chiamanda that the boss wants to see Dwayne and that it was urgent. He smiled and went back to sit with Sky.

Haaah, Sky stopped laughing as she tried to catch her breath. Woh, you guys bragged, promising the full family a feast and it turns out it's only you and Dwayne that could cook and you could only make one dish each...wait, who brought the idea of pancake, that wasn't pancake that was poison. Serves you right for ratting me outt.

Puhleease Sky, tell me you didn't have fun that day, you should remember the good part of how you spent your weekend with your family, not how we had to throw half the food and sneak in....

The door opened with a soft knock, before Anton could finish his sentence. Oh here you are Mr Teffa, please join us.

After receiving Chiamanda's call, he ran to the elevator and hurried here. He was dressed in a navy blue suit and red tie, with white shirt. He said hi and joined them in the meeting area.

Sky looked at Dwayne from head to toe, he looked so serious, so official and yet...she bust into laughter again, pointing her finger at him.

Dwayne didn't know what was going on, he was surprised at his boss's behaviour. This is what I've been going through alone Dwayne, please join me. Anton said to him

Is she ok? Dwayne asked, concerned.

She's ok, she just keeps playing Sunday event over and over in her head. She knew we snuck your mom in and that most of the food were from her place.

Dwayne used his hands to cover his face in embarrassment. Anton smiled. At least Ma'am, you were able to eat the great Mrs Hembadoom's food because of us, Dwayne said smiling as he winked at Anton.

Yeah, yeah...you are right. Sunday was fun because of you guys. Thank you Neto and thanks Anton for the rescue party. Now I hope everything is ready for the party Friday?

We are all set, just a remaining a few things here and there. Anton replied her.

Dwayne did you speak to your mom about the food? And how about the lady in charge of the small chops?

We are good to go ma'am.

Ok, and Chiamanda hasn't updated you on the shareholders?

She has but there's nothing new, they haven't gotten anything on you other than, you were dating the late CEO.

Hmmm ok, what about the ring?

Anton pulled out a box from his pocket and handed it to Sky, she opened it and put on the engagement ring, then threw the box at Dwayne.

You should wear yours, starting Friday.... they are already planning on destroying the party, we shouldn't give them more to talk about. Remember you met me at a charity ball the company organised and you wooed me for a while, and you finally succeeded, you were not a permanent staff then...we already started dating before you were employed permanently.
