Mahat Pawar maintained his calm and turned to look toward the elder and moved forward to greet him with a handshake and said ”Secretary of Ministry of Commerce! You have done a good job of organizing this event. Sorry, for our bad conduct. I agree that we have acted on impulse.”

Secretary smiled. He did not wish any commotion to happen in the event. He also did not wish to offend Mahat Pawar who is a relative of Minister Pawar. He felt relief on the response of Mahat Pawar. He sighed and thought ”These people of big families really know how to act in different situations.”

Varsha looked toward her husband who is already losing interest and not paying attention in that direction. She felt happy seeing that he is only staying because of her and whispered to him: ”We should go now.” Akash looked toward her and nodded.

But he moment they turned to walked toward other stalls, the voice of Mahat Pawar came from behind ”Oh, Mr Akash Patel! I did not know that I will get to meet you here.”

Hearing the voice, Akash turned back and faced the smiling Mahat Pawar who has come forward to meet him with an extended hand. With a calm face, Akash said nonchalantly ”There are many people whom you would not have known to be present here.” And then he extended his hand to shake the hand with him.

”Haha. I have heard a lot about your academic and business talent. You are also good at making sarcastic remarks. A person of talent indeed.” Mahat Pawar laughed and said while taking back his hand after the handshake. He did not pay attention to Varsha for now as he tries to gauge the ability of Akash. He also wished to maintain a calm and chivalry attitude to catch his opponent unaware.

Akash also looked at Mahat Pawar and smiled and said: ”I have also heard that you are a talented businessman.”

”You might have heard many other things as well about me.” Mahat Pawar laughed and said.

Akash looked at him and said ”But they are irrelevant things. I certainly do not care about them and I am also not much of a gossiper. I only care about the things which I like to do and nothing else.”

Mahat Pawar smiled and said ”I agree with you here. We should really care only for the things we like. Mr Akash! I have not read you wrong. A proud person with knowledge and self-confidence. It's good to make an acquaintance with you.”

First Akash thought there might be some misunderstanding but now he can confirm that the words of Mahat Pawar and also his expression is emanating a mild hostility toward him. He wondered what could be the reason for this hostility.

Akash kept a calm expression and looked at the smiling face of Mahat Pawar while thinking. But his pride won't allow him to ask the reason to Mahat Pawar and instead, he thought ”Want to be my enemy. You are welcome. You are setting a path to disaster to yourself.”
