Mahat smiled thinking that he finally he made this cute girl talk and he moved a bit forward and said with a slight laugh ”But it does not do any harm in making friends in the business world. I simply said 'Hello' out of goodwill as I already know a few Patel family members. Having friends like me will also help your husband. Although your family is growing in the restaurant business, I am also called the prince of the hotel business.”
Varsha looked toward this smiling stupid who thinks he has trapped her in his words. He must be thinking that if she replied negatively to such a generous person, she might be called bad names by surrounding people who are watching them from a distance. He might think that she will play by his script, what an idiot?
Varsha sneered internally and shouted ”You might be a prince or clown of so-called hotel business but I don't care. Why don't you leave us alone? We don't want to be friends with high profile people like you. If you did not stop coming near us, I will call the police.” And she pulled her phone from her bag.
Mahat Pawar got surprised and said in a hushed voice ”Please stop overreacting. Okay, I will leave now. Do not need to make such a noise, we are in a public place.” Suddenly his playful expression turned serious and he looked around at the people watching and finding himself in center of attention he raised his hand and said ”Okay, calm down. If you do not like talking to me, I will go now.”
Then Mahat Pawar turned around and walked toward the exit of the mall. He felt anger rising in his heart due to the unexpected public rebuke from a girl. He made a promise to himself that he will definitely retaliate for today's insult which was done to him in public.
Ira looked at speechlessly at Varsha and then she shook her head and laughed. Akshay is also surprised seeing this side of his humble sister-in-law but he liked it. After this, the group wandered on the second floor and after one hour they are sitting and eating in a restaurant on the second floor of the shopping mall.
Ira said while eating a piece of spiced cottage cheese from one of the appetizers ”Sister-in-law was too fierce. You just made that person run away so soon. We might have gotten a clown to entertain us for some time. He might be blabbering and trying to impress us. He will pay our bills and feel like he has attracted us. He will make a fool of himself and we can laugh about it.”
Varsha looked speechlessly at this stupid girl and said seriously ”No Ira, if we lead them on such type of people, they might turn into some maniac or psychopath later. I really am afraid of doing this especially these people with power because their arrogance has no bounds. If you talk to them they will think you are attracted to them. If you try to ignore them they think you are turning away because you are shy. If you try to fend them off, they think of you as an interesting challenge.”
”Sister-in-law! But he ran away just after a single outburst from you. How can he run away so easily? How can such type of person accept defeat so easily?” Akshay asked curiously and then he broke a piece of bread and dipped in the mixed veg curry and put in his mouth and chewed while waiting for a response from Varsha.
Varsha smiled and said ”These type of people are self-delusional people of low morality and keeping them as far as possible is the only solution. They can only be controlled by fear. They are not afraid of losing money. Losing the pride and so-called reputation which they have maintained by whatever deceitful and ruthless means. That is their greatest fear.”
”Oh, that is why sister-in-law shouted those words so that many people may hear that and he could not afford to stay after such clear rejection because it will lower his pride if he tried to pester after this.” Ira chirped understanding the point from the statement of Varsha.
Varsha also laughed and continued eating. Ira and Akshay also continued eating. After a few minutes, Ira looked curiously toward her sister-in-law and asked ”Sister-in-law! I did not know you could be so understanding of nature of people. Where did you learn this?”
”I have been watching 'Crime Patrol' from many years. This drama shows real-life cases of crime and how they were solved by people or police in each episode. Even now I watch it in my room. Even your brother does not get to watch anything else when I am watching it. Ha ha ha.” Varsha laughed and said.
Varsha laughed thinking about how she proposed to Akash to let her watch the drama 'Crime Patrol'. He did not agree to let her watch first due to its genre. She had to act pitiful for many days when Akash worked in the room or watched TV. Varsha simply sat on one side and watched whatever he watched and maintained a bored and sometimes even sad expression. Even if she watched something interesting, she did not react. Finally, Akash allowed her one hour of time to watch 'Crime Patrol' in the night and he also watches sometimes with her. After her significant progress of sleeping on the same bed, this was her other progress with Akash. Her laugh contained both mirths from current event and reminiscence from how she convinced Akash.
Akshay looked at Varsha who is laughing and then the speechless Ira and could not help saying ”Sister-in-law is great.” Ira also laughed thinking that sister-in-law has made another fan in the family.
