Mu Huaisheng could only delete the mail he received but could not do anything about the others. Mu Sisi was watching from the side. Her face was completely ashen.

Immediately after, they heard the notification for new mail. Mu Huaisheng looked at the new mail and saw that it was the video mentioned in the previous mail.
“How… How did this happen…” Mu Sisi bolted to the mirror and pounded on it with her fists. “You lied to me! You promised that you won’t leak those photos as long as I pay you 10 million! B*stard, you tricked me! I gave you the money, you *sshole! I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you!”
The police officer and Mu Huili hastily held Mu Sisi back. Mu Huili scolded, “What nonsense are you spitting here?!”
Just then, the other officer in the interrogation room came out too.
Seeing the chaos in the room, he staggered for a while then recapitulated Zhang Zhenlong’s words. “Zhang Zhenlong said that he set a specific time for the email to be sent. “Director Mu, what’s going on with Mu Sisi’s photos?” Gao Shenghe’s wrathful voice sounded on the phone.
“Lao Gau, I can’t talk right now. I’ll meet you at once and explain the situation face-to-face,” Mu Huili answered.
“Meet me? There’s a crowd of reporters gathered in front of our company. How are you supposed to meet me? Mu Sisi’s photos were sent to me, Jingqiu, and even the employees of the company. Now the whole world knows that us, the Gao family, had brought a slut into our family!” Gao Shenghe yelled furiously.
“Director Gao, this is all a misunderstanding—” Mu Huili glared at Mu Sisi. If she had not caused such a huge mess for the family, he would not have to be so courteous with Gao Shenghe.
Mu Huaisheng stepped toward a corner of the room. His sentence was instantly cut off by Gao Shenghe. “Misunderstanding? Director Mu, from your tone, I don’t think you sound surprised at all. Your family had long known about Mu Sisi’s despicable actions, right?”
“No, that’s not true. We have just found out about it too. We—” Mu Huili argued slightly sheepishly.
“You just found out? Mu Huili, do you think I’m an idiot? How dare you take advantage of my family like this! The two children have just met yet you all were so impatient to let them get married. Mu Sisi clearly loved Qi Chengzhi very much yet she still agreed to marry Qingqiu. Do you think you can just find a random man to become the father of the bastard child in her stomach? Your daughter’s out of control! Don’t drag others down too!” Gao Shenghe condemned angrily.
“Director Gao, you’re going too far. This is truly a misunderstanding. My daughter was a victim—she didn’t want this either. We’ll meet with the Gao family face-to-face and clarify everything. However, Mu Sisi isn’t a wild child!” Mu Huili scowled.
“Fine. We’re reasonable people, so since you claimed this is a misunderstanding, I’ll give you a chance to explain yourself. Come to our house tonight and explain it all clearly!” Having said that, Gao Shenghe hung up the phone without saying goodbye.
Mu Huili’s face was twisted with rage yet he restrained himself.
On the other end, Mu Huaisheng had finished discussing the matter with Liu Dui. Since the photos have been leaked and Zhang Zhenlong had admitted to it himself, the evidence was conclusive. The police had nothing more to do with this. Mu Huaisheng needed to rush back to MU. to deal with the photos.
“You should go home with Mom first. After an incident like this, you shouldn’t go to the company for now,” Mu Huaisheng advised in a low voice.
Mu Sisi was wailing non-stop. She latched on to Fang Anci, seeking comfort from her. “Mom, I’m done… I’m done…”
Fang Anci’s mind was a mess. Merely the thought of their situation with the Gao family had made her panic and distressed. She was in no mood to comfort Mu Sisi.
Mu Huaisheng hurried back to the company while Fang Anci brought Mu Sisi home.
When the car stopped outside their building, Mu Sisi and Fang Anci saw a horde of reporters gathered at the entrance downstairs. All of them had somehow received the news—it spread like wildfire.
Mu Sisi wanted to hide in the car but it was too late. The reporters swarmed toward the car and surrounded it. There was no escape.
Cameras, video cameras, and microphones were all pressed against the car windows. Even their faces were only inches away from the windows. They banged on the car doors and windows constantly. Mu Sisi could not take it anymore—she lowered her head and pulled at her hair.
“Mom, make them go away. Please make them go away. I don’t want to get out! I don’t want to!” Mu Sisi covered her face with her hair. Nonetheless, she could still feel the camera’s flashing lights shining in through the window.
“You should just go out—you’ll have to do it eventually. Do you want to stay in the car forever?” Seeing Mu Sisi like this, Fang Anci’s heart thawed. She pulled Mu Sisi into her embrace and gently patted her back, comforting her. “Now that it’s come to this, we have no choice but to go out and face it. This will pass. There’s nothing in the world that can’t be overcome. If you push past this hurdle today, things will get easier later.”

Mu Sisi cried so hard she was choking. Her tears flowed like a river. She looked as if she had gone crazy.
“Don’t look at them.” Fang Anci produced a pack of tissues from her bag and wiped Mu Sisi’s tears away. “When we go out, just close your eyes.”
“Mom, it’s possible that everyone on the planet has seen me like that. Those pictures… Do you know how disgusting they are? I only acted that way because I thought he was Qi Chengzhi. She pondered upon their situation for a while, then took out her phone and called the management of the building. She requested for their security team to drive away the reporters or at least get them away from the car door.
Meanwhile, Fang Anci and Mu Sisi could only hide in the car. The reporters outside were banging on the car windows. In the shelter of the car, they could still hear the ruckus they were making outside.
The reporters started pushing and shoving, making the car rock side-to-side.
The car window was so crowded that not even a ray of light could pass into the car. Those who could not seize a place by the side windows even climbed onto the car and surrounded the front and rear windshield, taking pictures of Mu Sisi who was bawling her eyes out.
“What do they want? Make them go away! Make them all go away! Stop taking pictures of me! Stop it!” Mu Sisi screamed. She turned around to see those savage reporters who only cared about competing for scoops. She was going to lose it.
“Mom, remember these people! I want to make them lose their job in this field forever!” Mu Sisi shrieked furiously.
Fang Anci could only sigh helplessly—she was still so capricious even in a situation like this. She was already an adult, yet her thinking was still so childish.
However, seeing Mu Sisi’s situation now, Fang Anci refrained from saying anything.
Finally, the security team arrived and hurriedly pushed the reporters away. However, there were too many reporters and too few security guards—it was complete pandemonium. A security guard swiftly called for backup through his walkie-talkie.
