Mu Sisi’s memory of the white shirt guy became clearer and she remembered that the man who lay on her in the hotel room was wearing a white shirt too. Was it the drug that caused her to mistakenly perceive that contemptible guy as Qi Chengzhi?

“Impossible… Impossible…” mumbled Mu Sisi who was still refusing to accept the truth.

She felt that the man who went to bed with her last night was very strong and muscular, especially when a part of him was inserted into her body, her private part was filled by it. She could feel it was very firm and thick. However, the thin and weak man in the security footage did not seem to be capable of doing that.

Mu Sisi’s face was pale, she was still staring at Qi Chengzhi longingly. She was certain that only a person with Qi Chengzhi’s stature could cause her to experience the feeling she had last night.

Mu Huaisheng stared at Mu Sisi miserably and helplessly. The footages of the monitoring device did not show the appearance of the man clearly, so how would they find him? It was like finding a needle in a haystack.

If Mu Sisi was not so willful in chasing after Qi Chengzhi and heeded their advice to go for a blind date, she would not have gone to drink alcohol alone and encountered this kind of incident.

“The fact is in the footage. It’s pointless even if you refused to admit or face it. I know that you’re shocked by the truth. We would think of a way to find that guy and bring him to justice. The family will support and help you,” said Mu Huaisheng with a gentle voice. After all, Mu Sisi had suffered enough as a victim in this incident. He had to comfort her and he knew that he should not add fuel to the fire.

“No! It wasn’t this man. It was Brother Chengzhi, I’m sure it was Brother Chengzhi!” Mu Sisi shook her head and said stubbornly, “Why don’t you think about it, maybe that guy brought me out of the pub, but Brother Chengzhi saved me and brought me to a hotel. The security footage from this pub can’t point to a conclusion, right? Who knows what had happened after I left the pub?”

Song Yu was not so furious anymore and instead pitied her slightly when she saw Mu Sisi’s stubborn expression. It was lamentable for her to live in her own world, refusing to accept the truth.

Furthermore, it was pitiful for a lady who was a virgin to encounter this kind of incident, especially Mu Sisi who had placed her affection on Qi Chengzhi and strived to remain a virgin for him. However, she was drugged and raped by a stranger unexpectedly, how could she accept it?

He did not say it out loud because Mu Sisi would never listen to him. She was blindly obsessed with Qi Chengzhi.

“Even if I was drugged and the substance in it caused me to hallucinate, but the senses of my body would remain unchanged, right? Mu Sisi’s lips were trembling violently. Her stare became confused and she did not bother to look at Qi Chengzhi’s body which she had been longing to see for a long time.

From her memory, the lower abdomen of the man last night was smooth indeed. Her limbs started to feel chilly and she felt her stomach churning. She was nauseated and felt like she would vomit anytime.

Qi Chengzhi stuffed his shirt back behind his belt and did not show any sympathy for Mu Sisi. He said coolly, “Let’s go to the hotel that you went to last night.”

However, Mu Sisi’s mind was already befuddled and she did not answer him when Mu Huaisheng asked her which hotel it was.

Qi Chengzhi called Cheng Dongge and asked him to be there with Lawyer Song to make another copy of the security footage of the pub. He did not trust Mu Sisi at all. Maybe after Mu Sisi became clear-headed again, she would come and delete the footages to frame him.

Mu Huaisheng finally managed to get the address of the hotel from Mu Sisi with great difficulty. He wanted to go there now but Qi Chengzhi asked him to wait for a while.

“Anything else?” asked Mu Huaisheng. He thought he had overlooked something.

“Wait for Cheng Dongge and Lawyer Song to come and make a copy of the footages,” said Qi Chengzhi indifferently without trying to conceal his intention.

Mu Huaisheng stared at Qi Chengzhi silently. He knew the reason Qi Chengzhi did this was not for the convenience of the Mu Family in charging the rapist, but because he did not trust him anymore.

Qi Chengzhi glanced at him coolly and did not bother about the two siblings anymore. He turned his head and asked Song Yu, “Are you tired? Sit for a while first.”

Song Yu was quite tired because she had to support her belly the whole day in addition to being disturbed by Mu Sisi. She was exhausted physically and emotionally. At first, she planned to go shopping with Qi Chengzhi today. Qi Chengzhi was busy since the day he was discharged from the hospital until this Sunday. It was rare for him to have a rest day like today, but it was destroyed by Mu Sisi again.

Qi Chengzhi accompanied Song Yu to sit on the sofa. Mu Huaisheng was anxious to know what had happened but he was not anxious at all. This was not his business. After all, he came here today just to prove his innocence and to prevent Mu Sisi from framing him.

After he waited for a while, Mu Huaisheng was a little impatient. He needed to deal with Mu Sisi’s incident without delay because there were many things that he had to solve and take precautions against. He did not know what troubles would arise if he delayed his actions.

However, Qi Chengzhi was sitting there calmly. It seemed like he did not care about the fate of Mu Sisi at all and only concerned about whether Song Yu was tired or not.

Mu Huaisheng stared at Mu Sisi scornfully. After seeing this situation, would she still feel that Qi Chengzhi would help her if he saw a stranger trying to take her away at the entrance?

Just when Mu Huaisheng wanted to propose that he could go to the hotel with Mu Sisi first, Cheng Dongge and Lawyer Song arrived.

Cheng Dongge just went to survey some houses with Qi Chengyue yesterday and they were quite satisfied with one of them. Today, they planned to look at a few more houses. They were sleeping at home and had just gotten up. They were preparing to go out when Qi Chengzhi called him.

Qi Chengzhi did not hide anything and told them about the situation directly. He could not care less about Mu Sisi’s feelings.

Cheng Dongge said that he understood the situation and asked Lawyer Song to deal with the management of the pub so that they could make a copy of the security footage.

After they settled everything, Song Yu asked Cheng Dongge when they were leaving the pub, “I heard Chengyue said that you’re both looking for a new house recently?”

“Yeah, we surveyed a few yesterday. Chengyue felt that one of the houses was quite nice. We wanted to look at other houses today to see whether there are better ones or not. Otherwise, we would buy the house that we visited yesterday.” Cheng Dongge was in a good mood when they talked about this because it was a very special feeling to buy his new house together with Qi Chengyue.

“You should go back immediately to survey other houses with Chengyue,” said Song Yu hurriedly. She turned her head to stare at Qi Chengzhi. “How could you ask Dongge to come here on a Sunday?”

“No worries, we already planned to go later,” said Cheng Dongge with a smile.

Their mood was very good, and they were talking and laughing together except Mu Huaisheng and Mu Sisi who had on a sour face.

Lawyer Song had settled everything, and he was waiting for them at the pub’s entrance. He talked to Qi Chengzhi for a while and left with Cheng Dongge afterward.

Qi Chengzhi supported Song Yu while walking to the car and headed to the hotel with Mu Huaisheng and Mu Sisi.

On the way, Mu Sisi’s face was pale and she looked like she wanted to vomit. Although she kept on denying it, she knew Qi Chengzhi was not involved in this incident.

Mu Huaisheng glanced at Mu Sisi, and he parked the car in front of the hotel’s entrance. After he got out of the car, he found out that it was an ordinary budget chain-hotel. Mu Sisi had never stayed in this type of hotel before. Unexpectedly, she had her first sexual experience in this kind of cheap place.

After a while, Qi Chengzhi’s black Range Rover reached too. He parked his car beside the hotel.

Qi Chengzhi got out of the car first and walked to the other side of the car to help Song Yu get out. His every movement was so careful and attentive.

Mu Sisi could not hold her tears back when she saw the scene as she felt a sharp pang of heartache. Why was her life so rough and unfortunate, unlike Song Yu who was pampered and cherished by Qi Chengzhi.

“Go in first,” reminded Mu Huaisheng as he grasped Mu Sisi’s arm.

Mu Sisi clenched her teeth resentfully—she could not stop staring at Qi Chengzhi and Song Yu.

The four of them entered the hotel. The two receptionists at the desk were still the same people Mu Sisi saw this morning. They obviously still remembered her.
