Song Yu used both of her hands to find her way to Liang Lihua’s wrist. Without hesitation, she used her fingernails to pinch the skin on Lihua’s wrist.

“Liang Lihua, stop acting like a madwoman!” Yu Zixiu could not endure it anymore and joined the other two waiters to hold Liang Lihua back.

Song Yu was in so much pain that she released her grip on Liang Lihua’s wrists. She held her own hair and tried to pull it towards her. She could feel her scalp going numb.

Song Yu’s tears kept rolling down, but she held in her sobs, not wanting to let others hear her crying.

Back in the days, Liang Lihua kept bringing Yu Keyao over to their house and weep. She even swore to the heavens that she would never forget how Yu Qianying helped them out, said that they were extremely grateful and would be forever indebted to them.

Just now, he came here looking for Song Yu. Once he entered the building, he heard a commotion in the cafe and glanced over to have a look. He saw customers gathered around a group of people in a brawl, some of them were even recording the fight.

Jian Yi frowned and stopped walking when he saw Yu Zixiu standing beside the two women who were fighting.

His touch was very light without exerting much force, but Song Yu felt a jolting pain on her scalp.

She immediately took a step back to avoid Jian Yi’s touch.

Jian Yi’s hand froze in the middle of the air. One moment later, he retracted his hand after balling it into a fist.

Even though it was only a split second of contact, it triggered his memory from the past where he used to caress her hair. He never expected to experience the same softness after such a long time under circumstances like this.

Song Yu endured the immense pain while she tidied up her hair. She wiped away the tears on her face and shook her head to indicate that she was fine.

She dare not speak now, for fear that she would not be able to hold her emotions. She was in a very vulnerable state right now.

“Let go of me!” Liang Lihua yelled.

Even though Liang Lihua stood up, the two waiters was afraid that she would charge forward towards Song Yu and grabbed her arms, one person on each side.

The sudden chime of her ringtone brought Song Yu back to her senses. Only then, she noticed that she was already in Jian Yi’s car, not knowing which direction he was heading to.

When she was about to reach for her cellphone, she looked down and saw a tissue box.

Jian Yi handed her a tissue box without saying a word.

Song Yu received it and sniffed her nose before withdrawing a piece of tissue to wipe off her tears. At the same time, she took out her cellphone and saw Qi Chengzhi’s number. Her heart jumped.

She felt a little guilty since she was sitting in Jian Yi’s car right now.

“I’m having lunch outside,” she tried to maintain a stable tone. She did not want to let him know that she was in Jian Yi’s car, for fear that he would get angry and ask for the reason why.

“Where are you?” He asked calmly like how he used to talk to her normally. His voice was light and gentle, tickling her heart softly, making her feel warm and tingly.
