Then, Yang Yunshu stood up immediately and stormed out of the office with a gloomy expression.

Song Yu and Ruan Danchen exchanged glances.

Ruan Danchen scooted over quietly again and said, “Do you think this is Qi Chengzhi’s doing?”

“What has it got to do with him?” Song Yu was confused.

“You didn’t see it with your own eyes. It was so obvious that Yang Yunshu tried to seduce him yesterday. If there had been no one in the office, I’m guessing she would have even stripped and thrown herself at him. Qi Chengzhi didn’t even utter a word and kept ignoring her. I suppose he had nothing to do with this, but Qi Chengzhi did seem displeased with that cold expression he had given yesterday.

“Also, Yang Yunshu seduced Qi Chengzhi yesterday and she got transferred today. I can’t think of any other possible reason except for this,” Ruan Danchen said with a lowered voice.

Song Yu blinked a few times. She was not really affected by this outcome. Even if it was Qi Chengzhi’s doing, she would not interfere if he wanted to give a lesson to an ignorant woman who tried to intrude on their relationship.

Even if Qi Chengzhi had orchestrated this, she would not go to him and plead on her behalf. She would not do such a thing for a woman as conniving as Yang Yunshu.

“Director Zhao, I think you know why I’m here. I want to know why I’m being transferred to the engineering department to be an office clerk without any prior notice? You know that I’m an Architect by profession. Don’t you think my talents will be wasted on a desk job in the engineering department?”

“I’ll temporarily transfer you to the engineering department. After some time, you may be able to return to your original post if Qi Chengzhi forgets about this. As for now, you can only be an office clerk. If you’re not happy with this decision, it’s fine for you to resign.” After Director Zhao was done, he ignored her and returned to his monitor and clicked on the mouse. Yang Yunshu had no idea what he was looking at.

Just because Song Yu had such a strong support, she could not even care less about her job. She could come and go as she pleased. Even Director Zhao dared not say a word and had to treat her with care. Yang Yunshu really wanted to have a taste of the power to toy with one’s fate.

Yang Yunshu could not hold in her anger and stormed towards Song Yu’s desk with a distorted expression. “Song Yu, you’re so evil! You plotted revenge for such a minor incident. How petty can you be!”

Song Yu was baffled by Yang Yunshu’s scolding for no valid reason. She raised her head to look at Yang Yunshu oddly and frowned. Even though she had a good personality, she did not have to endure Yang Yunshu’s humiliation.

Judging from Yang Yunshu’s words, it was most likely Qi Chengzhi’s doing.

Song Yu stood up and said indifferently, “Yang Yunshu, let’s make this clear. What do you mean when you said I transferred you away? This is not my company, I don’t have the rights to do that. I only saw the email from the human resources regarding your job transfer this morning. You just joined the company not too long ago. You and I don’t really know each other and I don’t know where all your hostility towards me stems from but don’t accuse me of such things!”

Yang Yunshu choked sadly and said, “How is it not your fault? Director Zhao personally admitted that he was forced by Qi Chengzhi to do so! Why would Young Master Cheng make life difficult for a nobody like me? It must be that the both of us are not getting along, and you pestered him to do this. Song Yu, you have such solid support but I don’t have any. Since you already have everything, why do you still want to agonize and bully me like that?”

“Yang Yunshu, I’m talking to you nicely, stop accusing me! I did not request Qi Chengzhi to do anything. If he was the one who caused your transfer, that was entirely his own decision. “You and I barely have any interaction, I don’t have to waste my effort on you. You are right about one thing, you’re just a nobody, why should I care for you?

“Even if I want to bully you, you’re not worthy enough! You are not worthy of my effort.” Song Yu looked at her coldly and continued, “You said that Qi Chengzhi forced Director Zhao to transfer you. You don’t need to use me as an excuse. You and I both know the real reason that caused this.

“You…” Yang Yunshu’s face turned pale. She thought about all her colleagues who were present in the office while she was berated by Song Yu. She had even used such crass words to scold her. How was she going to continue staying in the company? She would be the laughing stock of the whole office!

Yang Yunshu was so furious. It was like she could hear her mind explode and lost her senses. She raised her hand, aiming directly at Song Yu’s face.

“Yang Yunshu, what are you doing!” Director Zhao appeared at the entrance right before her hand landed on Song Yu’s face. He was so shocked and ran over hurriedly with an ashen face.

He dared not imagine what would happen if Song Yu was slapped in his company!

Director Zhao was so startled that his entire body was sweating. He ran over and grabbed Yang Yunshu’s hand and flung it aside. “This is the office, not a place for you to throw tantrums! Go and report yourself to the engineering department. You can work if you want to keep this job, if not, just resign!”

Feeling insulted, Yang Yunshu held her breath in. She wished that she could give Director Zhao a tough slap and shout, “I quit!”

However, she had no courage to do that. She did not have Song Yu’s fate to have a boyfriend like Qi Chengzhi.
