That night, Song Yu did not mention where they were heading to eat. She just told Song Donglin and Yu Qianying to follow her. Only when they reached Dynasty, both of the elders changed their expressions and stared at each other for a few instances.

They used to be regular customers of Dynasty. They knew about how Dynasty operate.

After fulfilling all their requirements, they would need to buy a VIP card in order to have their own private VIP room. The grand hall had no such rules, but the price range of its dishes were so expensive that it could not be afforded by the commoners.

They had never been here since they declared bankruptcy. When they looked at it again today, the ancient architectural style seemed to be even more magnificent and unattainable.

“Song Yu, it’s just a birthday. We can go to some other hotel. Why here?” Song Donglin pulled Song Yu over and lowered his voice, afraid that the bellboy would overhear them.

“Dad, don’t worry. I borrowed the VIP card from Wei Ran. I want to treat you a nice meal on your birthday,” Song Yu said smilingly. She had no choice but to use Wei Ran’s name.

At that time, Qi Chengji fell head over heels for Wei Ran and ignored his engagement. Yu Qianying did have opinions about Wei Ran, but she went on and married Wei Ziqi, and so she slowly put those judgments away.

Song Yu gently squeezed Yu Qianying’s hand and said in a lowered voice, “You guys haven’t been here since the bankruptcy right? Mum, you don’t have to bother about what Jian Yi’s mum said. We too can afford Dynasty. Although we may not be able to dine there so frequently, I can still afford to come once in a while.”

The manager could recognize Song Yu since she came here with Qi Chengzhi before. Qi Chengzhi also specifically reminded him not to blow the cover.

The service at Dynasty had always been very good. Therefore, even though the manager was especially respectful towards Song Yu, Song Donglin and Yu Qianying did not find it suspicious.

Song Yu frowned and pursed her lips. She did not want to waste her breath on her. She would not apologize as Qi Chengyue was the one who barged towards her.

When Song Yu turned around to go back into the room without calling Qi Chengzhi, Qi Chengyue voiced out from her back enigmatically, “Eh? What a coincidence to see you here. You can’t be with my big brother, right? He’s here for a meal too. Did you follow him intentionally after knowing that he’s having a blind date here?”

Song Yu’s paused her footsteps stiffly and restrained herself from turning around. However, Qi Chengyue was not going to let her go like this. Her voice became sharper after increasing the pitch, “Oh, so you didn’t know that he’s here for a blind date? Didn’t he tell you?”

Qi Chengyue chuckled lightly and pull the strands of hair behind her ears. Then, she strutted in her stilettos and walked right up to Song Yu, where she leaned against the wall and snickered sarcastically, “Seems like my big brother is not so serious about you after all! He’s attending blind dates when he’s with you. You’re just a plaything to him! Did he sleep with you and got bored?”

“As a lady from the Qi family speaking such profanity in a place like Dynasty, aren’t you afraid that someone may overhear you?” Song Yu gave her a cold stare, her hands that were hidden between the hem of her skirt had been balled up into trembling fists.

She was falling deep and fast for Qi Chengzhi. Based on her understanding of him, she believed that he would not condone such a despicable act. However, the persistence in Qi Chengyue’s words still made her uncomfortable inside as if something was biting her heart and it was hurting a lot.

“Haha, I personalize my words. In front of a bitch, I’m worried that you can’t understand me if I spoke decently!” Qi Chengyue crossed her arms and hugged her chest. She sized up Song Yu by scanning her gaze up and down in disdain.

“Oh, you reminded me of something! Big brother’s blind date today is a lady from the Yu family. I think it’s someone related to your mum’s side! Yu Keyao, is she your cousin sister?”

Since the Song family declared bankruptcy, Yu Qianying’s relatives were afraid that Song Donglin would come running to them for help. They had cut ties with Yu Qianying right away and refused to recognize her.

Yu Qianying’s parents had passed away even before they went bankrupt, leaving behind a few sisters and brothers but they were not very close.

“With that being said, your cousin sister really does resemble your features. She’s younger than you and I think my big brother has quite a good impression of her. Men right, they won’t cherish you after they got what they wanted. Besides, your cousin sister is from a noble family. In terms of status and elegance, she’s much better than you. You were not bad yourself back in the days, but too bad, you were dulled by those difficult times,” Qi Chengyue shook her head gently while clicking her tongue.

“It’s only normal for my big brother to like her. You’re just something new to him, nothing more than that,” Qi Chengyue sized her up incessantly and snickered. “You can’t just climb your way into the Qi family. Just be contented and find a normal guy. With your looks, it shouldn’t be difficult for you to find someone. However, there’s only so much you can give and the other aspects are just fit for a commoner.”

Suddenly, Qi Chengyue’s sweet-looking face turned into a vicious, cunning expression, “Don’t think that you can get your revenge on me by being with big brother, marrying into the Qi family and step on me. Jian Yi doesn’t want you and you’re just a nobody in my brother’s eyes!”

No matter how much turmoil was going on inside Song Yu’s heart, her face remained expressionless as if she did not hear a word from Qi Chengyue. She said coldly with those rose pink lips, “Which room?”

“What?” Qi Chengyue was stunned. She asked with astonishment, “Why are you asking this? Are you doubting what I’ve just said? Do you want to go and verify yourself?”

“So what if I do?” Song Yu glanced at her impatiently, “Which room?”

“They’re at Donglaige. Go and see it yourself if you dare. Prove that I’m not lying.” Song Yu already turned around and left before Qi Chengyue finished talking.

Qi Chengyue was shocked. She could not believe that Song Yu had the courage to go over. She followed behind to see whether she was just bluffing.

Song Yu did not stop throughout the walk there and came to a halt in front of the door of Donglaige. Qi Chengyue looked at her in surprise as she did not expect her to really come over.

At that moment, she thought that Song Yu was finally going to give in. Instead, she saw Song Yu placed her hand on the doorknob and rotated it without hesitation and opened the door.

Song Yu remained at the doorstep. The people inside were also startled and turned towards her with astonishment.
