”I know, I still need to recover from my injuries, but I need to milk this situation and earn something so calm down.” Wang Ling took in a deep breath and then turned to the one called Pesa, ”I don't know you guys and you attacked me without reason, he tried to kill me and I am returning the favor by trying to kill him and I don't care what happens to me outside, this place is locked from the outside so no one will be able to touch me.”

Pesa looked at Wang Ling's eyes and then laughed, ”You are quite interesting so I must warn you that boy's family is also in here a part of them at least. They are with him and they number at over a hundred, look around you, how many do you think is pointing their swords at you?”

”Counting the ones in the shadows there are 13 in total.” Wang Ling answered as if it was a matter of fact and his astute observation caused Pesa to be taken aback.

”That's right, there are 13 men here and all of them are on the same level as this boy here — they may even be stronger than him as they are meant to be his bodyguards, so, how about it? Do you still wish to kill him?”

Wang Ling was silent for a while and a sly smile blossomed as he answered, ”Quite frankly that is scary but I can't go empty-handed here, how about letting me know why you have this one attack me? I don't think I have offended anyone since I entered this place.”

Pesa's eyes turned to slits as he found his words rather irritating, ”That man over there is named Lyka, he is a member of the prominent family Kinho, I ordered him to teach you a lesson about picking your enemies. You attacked my men three years ago, the Ravaging Beast Guild, does that ring a bell?”

”A coward pointed me so it seems. But that doesn't mean you can poison me and try to kill me, is there now? Also, he poisoned me, should I poison this one before I give him back?” Wang Ling looked at Pesa once again and then intently glared at him with a penetrating gaze.

Pesa kept his smile, ”I suppose so, but do not blame him, I was the one who gave him the poison-laced sword so I am the one who poisoned you. Your words must pertain to your intention on wanting to get the antidote, correct?”

Pesa brought out a vial from his storage ring and passed it to Wang Ling, ”That should clear out the weapon in your body, now, let him go or I will make you do so.”

Wang Ling saw the intent in the eyes of Pesa and with a sigh, Wang Ling decided to take his Heaven's Will and reduced it to a five-kilogram sword before throwing Lyka towards Pesa. Wang Ling stood up from the ground stared at Pesa for a few seconds before getting under the tree a few meters away.

He did not go and hide as Wang Ling needed to secure his position. If someone else thinks of attacking him while he is injured, then that bastard will have to think twice as they are in the open. Humiliation will only follow for attacking someone already injured in broad daylight.
