The second meridian Immortal was scared, but he managed to piece together what little courage he had and managed to eke out the words Wang Ling was trying to find, ”We are a part of a Guild known as Ravaging Beast Guild, and we take turns waiting for people to enter this place. We are to assess them if they are worthy to join the Ravaging Beast Guild. There are other guilds here just a couple of meters away, who is after the same thing as us though I doubt they are still there after your display of power. I answered your question, um, can you get the sword away from us? And if you could, can you please call back your killing intent? The others are suffocating.”

An earnest request, and for some odd reason, Wang Ling listened to his request and called his killing intent back just enough to let them breathe properly.

”Oh that is quite interesting, then your plan to ambush me was a means to test me and my companion over there so what makes you think we will join you guys if you attack us? Also, you guys are weak, why do you think I will even accept an invitation from someone as weak as you guys?”

The second meridian Immortal scratched his head and answered the awkward question, ”Um, this is not what's supposed to happen. Well, what just happened is a rare thing, only the people who have the chance to stand at the top 500 can do something like this, so…”

”Final question, do you have any map or this place and what is the means that you guys use to know the rankings? If you do, give them to me and then give me a 50,000 Meteor Stones collectively, then you can leave.”
