Walking out of the inn, Wang Ling and Fjord left to register for the Heavenly Dragon Selection's qualifiers. The duo that walked at least two meters away from each other as Fjord kept the act of coincidence ongoing.

”Brother Wang Ling, do you even know where you are going?” Fjord asked from two meters behind Wang Ling.

”I already know. It's in the Cloudless Square correct? I am already going there, you can head there ahead of me if you so will to do so.” Wang Ling rebuked.

”What are you talking about, Brother Wang Ling? I am already heading over there. Worry now, our time of heading out is merely a coincidence, you need not worry about your Master's words.” Says the guy who banged the door for ten minutes until Wang Ling comes out.

Wang Ling knows that Fjord was the kind of guy who will not shut up so he just kept his silence and observed the surrounding.

The Cloudless City was even bigger than Fleeting Wing City, it was a city like any other and the only difference it had was the food being sold on the street. There was a variety of food that can be found in there that is only sold in the Cloudless City. Cloudless City is just one of the seven cities holding the qualifiers.

Throughout the Seven States, only seven cities holds it. And every state holds qualifiers to decide who will represent them in the coming Heavenly Dragon Selection in the Capital City of the Heavenly Dragon Empire.

With that in mind, Wang Ling looked at the bustling city where numerous cultivators were flying overhead. Only youths at the age below 200 could participate in the Heavenly Dragon Selection, this was the case because the Heavenly Dragon Selection is an event and a tool that attracts the geniuses of the Empire.

The price of this Heavenly Dragon Selection is pride, honor, and treasures. There's also the chance of joining the inner sect of the Heavenly Dragon Sect that is controlled by the Heavenly Dragon Emperor.

Upon walking for twenty minutes or more, Wang Ling finally arrived at the square where thousands of people gathered.

The city square was a kilometer in diameter. There were seven stages that fit the area. But the thing that caught Wang Ling's attention was the floating stages present in the square. These stages are suspended in the air by numerous layers of formations.

It was a sight that cannot be found anywhere in the Celestial Spirit Realm, ”How amazing, if even stages are applied with formations, what of the headquarters scattered all around the world? Just what kind of power the strongest powers hold?”

Wang Ling reveled at the sight before him and shook off the reverence the next second.

At the edge of the square, there was an area limited to sighing up. There were tens of youths lined up for the sole purpose of applying for the selection.

When Wang Ling and Fjord lined up, a familiar face from afar noticed Wang Ling's arrival.

”Brother Wang Ling, it is you!”

An aged voice sounded out and Wang Ling turned to look at who the person calling out to him. And lo and behold, it was Limen, the twelfth meridian Immortal he met back at the Fire Emperor's Garden.

Wang Ling was pleasantly surprise to see him but then remembered Limen's words about also joining the Heavenly Dragon Selection.

Limen's face beamed as he saw Wang Ling. He quickly approached him with one youth adjacent to him, ”Did you just arrive as well as Brother Wang Ling?”

The people around the area was watching such a scene with surprise expressions. Seeing Limen talk to Wang Ling with respect as if the two were equal was a surprise.

”That's the Fire Lord Immortal Limen, correct? Who is that young Immortal he is talking to? Is he some Young Lord of some Clan? How come I have never seen him before?”

”He even has a beastman with him, he must be some bigshot. We need to look for him. But look at his body, he seems rather weak and frail, I just hope he is not some slumbering dragon.” There are others who became warry of Wang Ling's appearance but Wang Ling ignored them.

This Heavenly Dragon Selection is comprised of Immortals that are at the age of 200 and below. Unless they are top of the crop geniuses, the strongest of them would be second meridian Immortals. And considering Wang Ling's prowess he can match any second meridian bloke he will come across. Though there's also a chance of meeting a second meridian Immortal genius, he will take care of it when he gets there.

Wang Ling could easily take care of them, no problem. So he was rather carefree, but of course, he will still be ready when the time of battle comes.
