Seeing this made Wang Ling creased his brows as he asked once more, ”Do you not feel anger!? Answer me!”
”Yes, I do! The number of deaths committed in the name of their so-called righteousness had been haunting the Devil Path practitioners for a very long time! I feel my anger rising when I think of the time when my fellow brothers lose their lives on the hands of the Holy Path, the anguish of losing them is something I cannot merely gloss over!” The principal answered honestly in the face of Wang Ling's majestic overbearing aura.
The Grand Elders also reflected the emotions he was spouting that it made Wang Ling smile secretly. Shaking his head, Wang Ling argued, ”Sigh, it seems like you still only watch with a narrow view of the big picture, Little Zi, with such emotion you do not seem to wish to elevate the standing of the Devil Path but ground it to the ground.”
At this point, the Grand Elders and Principal Zi snapped out of their own little world. They just realized what they have shown in front of the Great True Devil King and immediately bowed their heads in disgrace, ”I—I…”
”Do not about such a display, what you say is indeed true after all. Principal Zi stood up and stared at Wang Ling's eyes showing from the slits of his mask, Wang Ling showed his sincerity and continued, ”If you wish to create a world that welcomes the Devil Path then you must open up a path for the world to accept us. But in order for us to achieve that, you must throw away the pride that blocks you from accepting the one possible path we can take.”
Principal Zi swallowed dry saliva and waited for Wang Ling's words with bated breath. It took a while for Wang Ling to speak but eventually, he spoke up, ”You need to make the first move and announce the world that you are willing to form an allegiance with the Heaven's Will Academy.”
”Impossible! Do you mean to say that we must throw bow our heads to the Heaven's Will Academy in order for us to live? Living the life of a dog is much better than living a life where we have to prostrate ourselves in order for us to live. Keeping the Status Quo right now is much better.”
A Grand Elder interjected. Many of the Grand Elders nodded their heads in agreement which Wang Ling responded with, ”You have not been listening, aren't you? I only speak of making an announcement not bowing your heads, I also speak of the fact that in order to achieve a new path one must destroy the preconceived path you stare with pride. If you do this, Heaven's Will is going to have their guards up but at the same time, they will not be able to touch you. And also, this is just the first step to creating a truly safe world for the Devil Path the true reason why I want the Heaven's Will Academy and the True Devil Academy to act as the spearhead in creating a new era of peace rather than calling other forces of the two factions holds a deeper meaning.”
