Chapter 37 Choice of Life and Death (1/2)
This hole was not only mysterious but also terrifying. Once entering inside, one might encounter misfortune, but might find a chance to live.
Zhang Yunyan knew she could not own her soul for a long time, which could be said her life was hanging its line. She had to find a way out as soon as possible. Opportunities were rare and would disappear in a short. Even if there was a slight chance, she was willing to take the risk actively fight for it.
Otherwise, once the Black Killer returned, she would lose everything and she and Iron Egg would die tragically.
Zhang Yunyan looked at the mysterious mouse and felt that it looked very urgent and very eager. It wanted her to enter this mysterious hole.
She must be suspicious, still thinking and hesitating.
All the way here, this big mouse always got into the hole with the marks of ”incomplete moon” without any hesitation, so why did it stop by here? What was the difference between the marks of ”full moon” and ”incomplete moon”? Why was only there a mark of ”full moon”?
Soon, Zhang Yunyan discovered the reason why the mouse did not want to enter the hole marked with ”full moon” was that it was a little bit scared of it and even dared not approach to it.
Yunyan felt a bit strange. Since this mouse was not willing to get inside, why did it introduce her to get inside alone? Was there any horrible secret? Did Black Killer set some traps over there?
This hole was unusual. The mysterious light predicted unknown secrets, which might be terrifying.
Facing the mysterious light and the mouse's fear, Zhang Yunyan felt more suspicious and could not help hesitating.
She knew clearly that the mouse must have its own purpose to lead her here. Otherwise, it would not try its best to tempt her and was eager to ask her to get into the mysterious hole.
Zhang Yunyan was looking at the strange mouse, while looking at the mysterious hole. Then, she came up with an idea.
She silently snorted and decided to drive the mouse into the flashing hole to see what would change and what would happen. Would there be any shining monster?
When the mouse saw Yunyan approaching itself, it escaped at a fast speed but still avoided to get into the hole. It seemed that he was really scared of it.
It dared not approach the hole, and did not want to leave, but stared at Zhang Yunyan all the time. It seemed that it would not give up before it could lead its hunted prey inside.
Needless to say, the mouse must know the secret in the hole and knew how horrible it was. Therefore, it stopped.
Its expression was anxious and screamed a few times, urging Zhang Yunyan to go inside quickly. This might be the final purpose since it appeared, so it would not give up before it could reach its purpose.
Since the mouse dared not move forwards, why did it insist Zhang Yunyan get in? Was it an order from Black Killer?
For this, it was just Yunyan's suspicion. Except for the mouse, nobody knew the truth.
This big mouse was very alert and acute. Zhang Yunyan had no way to drive it into the flashing hole and could not observe the changes inside.
After several repetitions, she was relieved and had to give up.
Yunyan found that the mouse was so feared, so she was more scared of the mysterious hole. She was hesitating whether she should get inside.
Why did this little creature bring Zhang Yunyan here and insist her get inside? Why did this hole shine the light in green out of blue? Was there any ulterior secret in it?
At this moment, those were all mysteries which were not easy to settle. Except for that big mouse, nobody could know the truth.
Zhang Yunyan looked at the mysterious hole and knew nothing about those mysteries. She had no way to know, so she could only guess.
The flashing in the hole was a sign of dangers. She could not stop being suspicious and hesitated.
The time she left for herself became less and less. Maybe, Black Killer was on his way back and would arrive soon. Zhang Yunyan had to take the short time for her life and find the ”another village” hope for Iron Egg and herself.
