This morning, Mo Xiaoxiao called the Xiao family's old mansion and asked Yang Ziying to come to the company to look after him. She would go to a meeting with Han Yong, and Miao Siqing would be able to identify the members of the Burning Sun family.
Yang Ziying was excited. Originally, Xiao Yuelin wanted to come as well, but he was afraid that he would cause a ruckus and make Mo Xiaoxiao feel disgusted.
Xiao Yuelin asked his wife to take a picture of his two grandsons. As he saw Yang Ziying leave the house in high spirits, he was immediately envious.
Xiao Yu who was still sleeping soundly seemed to have sensed something. His eyes, which were originally closed, slowly opened up a slit and moved his pitch-black eyeballs. After that, he closed his eyes and continued to sleep, but very quickly, he opened them again.
With that, his half-closed eyes completely opened, and he stared unwaveringly at Yang Ziying, waving her small hand.
”Good grandson, Grandma came to see you, baby.” Yang Ziying looked at the cute grandson's face, which was almost exactly the same as her son's. Her eyes moistened as she hugged Xiao Xun and shouted, ”Little baby, little baby, grandma is in pain!”
Xiao Xun looked at Yang Ziying, and a layer of mist suddenly gushed out of her round black eyes.
He opened his small mouth and cried. As he cried, his smooth and delicate skin started to grow white fur. Two sharp fangs were already emerging from his pink bed.
Yang Ziying's coaxing words were stuck in her throat as she stood there like a thunderbolt, unable to react. She could only watch as the little guy in her arms turned into something else, and the tears in Yang Ziying's eyes started to flow uncontrollably.
How could this be?
His son had only started acting up when he was seven or eight years old, but he was only a few days old when it came to his grandson!
Miao Siqing was watching from the side. When she saw Yang Ziying's expression, she knew that something had happened. Sure enough, that little rascal had once again turned mischievous and changed into another form.
Miao Siqing reached out to grab Shao Wandering from Yang Ziying and coaxed him as if he was a decent person.
She looked at the scene in front of her and looked at Yang Ziying's tears. She put down the documents in her hands and walked over to Yang Ziying's side and softly said, ”Mom, don't worry. We will grow up well. He's great.”
Yang Ziying wiped away the tears on her face and tried her best to give a smile to Mo Xiaoxiao. No wonder Xiao Meng Han didn't want anyone else, she had to do it silently.
When she first found out about her son's illness, she was so resentful towards the Xiao family. Looking at Mo Xiaoxiao's calm and strong attitude, Yang Ziying's heart was burning with passion. He suddenly felt that he had not been good enough as an mother-in-law.
”Xiao Yan, I've made you suffer.”
”Mom, I didn't suffer. It wasn't me that was suffering, it was Meng Han.” She was very grateful that Yang Ziying did not force her to ask why Xiao Menghan had disappeared. Instead, she did not ask any questions, nor did she give herself any pressure.
Yang Ziying looked at his grandson, who was in Miao Siqing's arms, and her eyes filled with envy. She wiped the tears off her face and tried to hug him.
Miao Siqing retreated a few steps, but after receiving a glance from Mo Xiaoxiao, he stood still and let Yang Ziying try to get closer to Xiao Xun, who was acting cute in his arms.
The little guy was currently grabbing Miao Shiqing's clothes with its small hands and putting them into its mouth. Its small mouth was pouting, and its pair of fangs were ferociously trying to bite Miao Siqing's clothes to practice its toughness.
Yang Ziying used her fingers to touch her grandson's small hand, but didn't turn her head. Instead, her teeth went towards Yang Ziying's fingers.
Without being aware of it, Yang Ziying bit her finger, and the pain was transmitted from her finger to Yang Ziying's brain.
Yang Ziying held in her shock and didn't say a word. She also didn't retract her finger.
Mo Xiaoxiao came over with a document and told Yang Ziying to go to the meeting, but she saw her son biting her finger without letting go. She quickly reached out her hand to pinch her son's chin to let him go.
