Inside Miao Siqing's room, Dr. Miao looked at Han Yong, who had placed his on the bed. Her hand tightened as an ice-cold needle spun between her fingers.

Han Yong stood up straight. Without turning his head around, he asked, ”Grandmother Miao, do you trust me?”

Han Yong's back was completely silent. His forehead was covered in sweat, but he continued to stand there. He did not turn his head around and just silently waited by his bed. Only when the danger of suffocation had been eliminated did Han Yong secretly let out a long breath.

”Go, don't come back.” The chilling ray in Doctor Miao's fingers had already disappeared. She moved past Han Yong to Miao Siqing's side and lowered her head to look at her grandson. Her eyes had turned red.

Han Yong opened his mouth. Just now, he had managed to retrieve his life. He felt as if he had survived a disaster. Before Han Yong left, Doctor Miao told Han Yong, ”You must not leave the child in your womb.”

”Why?” Han Yong hastily turned around, not caring about his own safety. He saw that Doctor Miao had his back facing him and did not utter a single word. Han Yong clenched his fists. He knew that Doctor Miao did not want to say anything.

Right now, the most important thing was to find Mo Xiaoxiao. Han Yong suddenly thought of Xiao Meng Han and hastily ran out.

A van was speeding along the highway. It was a very ordinary looking van, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. The only difference was that the windows were drawn up so people outside couldn't clearly see what was going on inside.

The man was wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a woman with a mask sat in the passenger seat. The back of the car was separated from the other side, so the person in front could not hear what they were saying.

”How much longer until the helicopter?” The woman's voice was very low, and it sounded like a warped chicken's cry.

”Twenty minutes to go.”

”Can't you move faster?”

”If I go too fast, there will be trouble.” The man's words were careful and prudent. If he was chased by the traffic police, it wouldn't be worth it. He didn't dare to say something like that to the woman beside him. If he did, his fate would be miserable.

The woman snorted and turned her head arrogantly towards the window. Suddenly, her eyes narrowed, and her sharp gaze fell on the rearview mirror.

”He's coming?”

”Who?”

”Hurry up.” The woman didn't reply. Instead, she reached out with her hand and placed it against the thigh artery of the man driving the car.

The man gritted his teeth and didn't dare to look at the rearview mirror. The car shot out like an arrow leaving the bow, and they quickly drove into a remote mountain road.

She struggled to sit up and realized that her hands were tied, and that she had no strength left in her body at all. Her eyes were covered with a black cloth, and she could not see what was happening around her. Fear and fear tightened her breathing, but she did not move.
