Both felt the same way, especially Shane, so she nuzzled Josh to see his face and confirmed what she just heard.

”What did you say?” Shane asked, blinking several times. She was serious while saying those words at him, but hearing his reply in the same serious tone caught her off guard. It was unexpected.

'Did Josh say I love you too?' she mused. She heard the words correctly, right? She saw Josh roguishly grinned.

Afraid that she was only hallucinating, Shane asked again, ”What did you just say?”

Josh had a smile that reached his eyes while his stare at Shane penetrated deep within her bones.

”I was planning to make it a romantic confession, a day to remember forever, to tell you how I felt for you, but you suddenly blasted those words on me such that I couldn't help but answer you right away.” Josh stated before cupping Shane's face and declaring to her, ”Mrs. Shane Lim… I love you… I love you… I love you… I love you…”

”I hope I have said it enough times for you to hear it?” Josh uttered. Shane nodded and abruptly kissed Josh, leaving him no room for air to gasp.

”Who said I need a romantic set-up for your confession? Just hearing those words coming from your heart and on your lips is more than enough,” Shane mumbled between her kisses.

She felt she was at cloud nine and everything in her surroundings were covered in bright light brought about by a blast of fireworks everywhere. She was too grateful and blissful at that moment.

Nothing was more rejoiceful than a love that was reciprocated. She did not end up having the unrequited love she once thought she would end up with, but her love was reciprocated!

That night Shane's room was filled with humming and m.o.a.ning sounds of love making overnight, as they both couldn't have enough of each other. They were so much engrossed in themselves that Josh was a bit skeptical after a few times, if they went overboard and asked Shane if her room was somewhat soundproof because of their aggressive lovemaking where both could not satiate their hunger of being in each other's arms, lost deep in each other.

”Nah… Don't mind them… They wouldn't care besides we're in the process of producing a baby so they might even silently cheer for us.” Shane muttered before rolling over Josh on their bed.

”I will dry all your energy tonight.” Shane winked, followed by an evil laugh. Josh's face reddened before whispering, ”Do as you please my love…”

Shane cringed because she was not used to Josh saying such cheesy words. Maybe she should get used to it from now on.

”We're in… She did it!” Chad informed Xander pertaining to Shane who managed to put the malware in the system of the Yue clan.

”Didn't it go too easily for her to penetrate the system, install the malware and not even get caught? I mean, I was expecting the Yue clan to be more guarded against such threats, given the situation they are in right now?” Lana commented.

”My same sentiments as well… Unless someone from the inside let her go easily?” Xander commented.

”Yeah, she said Raine's right-hand man made it easy for her…” Chad commented.

”Raine is the King's daughter, right? How come you haven't seen her as well? Shouldn't you guys have some events like parties to gather and meet each other?” Lana commented.

Chad laughed and said, ”I think you almost forgot that I hid in your country as Keira's bodyguard for so long, Lana. Unfortunately, there were no events or parties when I arrived for me to meet her. Besides, that princess is not an ordinary woman. Most people who met her say she is like thin air. You will feel her presence but cannot see her appearance most of the time. I heard that woman love disguises. But Shane had seen her. Maybe we can ask her later to draw her picture or describe it for a sketch?”

��No need, you said she's quite harmless, so why to bother about her? Our only target is Yun since he's the one manipulating things and planning everything to dispose of my bloodline.” Xander commented before going through some more doc.u.ments inside Chad's private room where no one had access except Chad.

The three were back to wrap up certain things before the trial began. Almost everything was ready except for one.

”How's patient X?” Chad asked Xander.
