126 Dauntless Lightning God Spirit Root. (1/2)

Ling Tian extended out a finger and a red dot of light was formed which he flicked towards Lin Ke'er. The dot of red light entered Lin Ke'er's body, startling her.

A thick black fog started to come out from Lin Ke'er's body. This was the collection of impurities in her body that Ling Tian was forcing out in a gaseous form.

The black fog spread around Lin Ke'er as it gradually thinned and disappeared. With the thin black fog's dissipation, a red glow started to emanate from Lin Ke'er's body. The red glow came from inside her and under her fair skin, her veins, arteries and blood vessels were visible, as they pulsated with a red glow.

”The spirit energy cultivation within you has reached it's limits within its boundaries. But the limits of the cultivation technique I gave isn't even on sight. To achieve a breakthrough, you require something else, besides spirit energy.” Ling Tian said through narrowed eyes.

” What do I need?” Lin Ke'er asked.

” Duh. A high-level spirit root, of course. I just said that before.” Ling Tian said.

” I'm sorry master.” Lin Ke'er said meekly while lowering her head.

” Sigh, forget it. Here's the Spirit Root inheritance for you. It's called Dauntless Lightning God Spirit Root. Trust me, it's pretty high level.” Ling Tian said as a green palm sized crystal appeared in his hand.

” An attribute Spirit Root?! Master! Isn't this too valuable?!” Lin Ke'er asked in fright.

” Nah. I have plenty of these, so don't worry.” Ling Tian said with a leisure smile.

” Re-Really?” Lin Ke'er asked again in doubt.

” Really.” Ling Tian reassured her.

Ling Tian did not want Lin Ke'er to have low talent, so he picked out one of the only four God Rank Spirit Root inheritances in the Soul Storage Space for her.

His little disciple only deserved the very best!

” How do I .... fuse with it, master?” Lin Ke'er had no knowledge in this regard. The knowledge of Spirit Root inheritance is known only to those above True God level. An absurd thing like fusing with an external Spirit Root was already unheard of, needless to say of knowing how to carry it out.

” It's pretty simple. I will teach you.” Ling Tian said as his lips curled up at the corners. He saw the look of apprehension cross the face of Lin Ke'er and he grew more amused.

Looking at Lin Ke'er's expression of confusion, Ling Tian could not bear but to pull her into his arms, his chest against her back and rested his chin on her head. Ling Tian cupped Lin Ke'er's hands together and placed a palm sized crystal in them.

” Just trust me and do as I say. Everything will be fine.” Ling Tian said with a smile.

Lin Ke'er didn't realize that Ling Tian was currently hugging her as she was completely focused on the green crystal in her hands, lost in daze.

Lin Ke'er stared at the crystal in her hands, it was sparkling clear and you could see through it. Upon closer inspection, she noticed there was something more inside. A trail of green arc of lightning seemed to swirl within and the lightning seemed to be alive.

” That's a Spirit Root within?” The crystal's surface was cold and hard and felt just like beautiful crystal, but different. She could not identify what material it was.

Although the process carried it's own risks since not everyone is a logic defying Nature Immortal like Ling Tian. But...
