85 Ling Tians Battle Beast. (2/2)

The Flood Dragon charged at Ling Tian as its movement created blades of wind which made cut marks on the ground.

The Flood Dragon opened its mouth and charged a red coloured ball of spirit energy with draconic aura.

Ling Tian was familiar with this skill. It is Dragon Blast, one of the Dragon race's innate skills.

*Bhwoom*

The Flood Dragon fired the Dragon Blast at Ling Tian, to which Ling Tian stood still while his eyes turned purple with various patterns appearing on them.

The Dragon Blast didn't do a thing against Ling Tian as it was simply absorbed into Ling Tian.

” What?!” The Flood Dragon exclaimed.

” Roar!!!”

The Flood Dragon roared as the lands shook, it's tail end shined with red light and the Flood Dragon smashed it towards Ling Tian.

*Bam!*

Ling Tian simply raised a hand and stopped it with his palm alone.

The Flood Dragon started to feel fear now. It let it's arrogance take over it when it evolved into a high-level Flood Dragon and foolishly fought Ling Tian instead of fleeing this place.

” Is that it?” Ling Tian asked.

” Urkhh..” The Flood Dragon slightly retreated.

” Don't be so tense now. I have a deal for you.” Ling Tian said with a smile.

” Deal?” The Flood Dragon asked while feeling a bit wary.

” Become my contracted beast.” Ling Tian said.

” Your contracted beast?! Don't kid with me!! I'm a Dragon!! I'd rather die than become someone's slave!!” The Flood Dragon said in a ferocious yet determined tone.

” Listen fully before coming to a decision.” Ling Tian said.

” .... ”

” First, you won't be my slave, but my battle beast, my partner in battle. Second, if you follow me, I'll help you evolve into much higher levels.” Ling Tian said.

” Help me evolve?! You think the likes of you can help me evolve?! My dream is to become a True Dragon which is my ancestral form. Will you be able to help me achieve that?! Of course not!” The Flood Dragon yelled at Ling Tian in disdain.

Ling Tian didn't say anything. He raised his hand and a bluish white energy emerged from Ling Tian's palm.

” ?!! That's... Impossible!! How is this possible??!!” The Flood Dragon Exclaimed in shock and its eyes shone with desire when it saw the bluish white energy in Ling Tian's hand.

” True Dragon? Your ambitions are really low! With me as your master, Even evolving into a Dragon God isn't the limit for you! So how about it?” Ling Tian asked.

The Flood Dragon thought for a while before saying, ” I'll become your contract beast. But will you really be able to grant me strength?”

” You agreed rather easily. I thought I'd have to spend some effort to convince you.” Ling Tian said in a surprised tone.

” I need more power! Not for myself, but for my brethren!” The Flood Dragon said.

Ling Tian didn't say anything and simply went forward and touched the Flood Dragon's forehead with his right hand.

The spot he touched glowed with orange light and the Flood Dragon could feel a sort of connection to Ling Tian.

” That was a soul contract. It doesn't bind your life with me, only makes a connection between us which is unbreakable.” Ling Tian said.

” From now on, you are my battle beast!” Ling Tian said.
