52 Plundering The Cultivators Of Ye Clan Part 2 (1/2)

Soon a silhouette landed just a few tens of meters away from Ling Tian and the others.

The newcomer was an old man who looked to be in his seventies. He looked to be a bit nervous and when he spotted the state of Ye Gouyi, he had a shocked expression which soon turned into anger. He was clear about Ye Gouyi's condition as he saw through Ye Gouyi's condition with a single glance.

Elder Sun was calm but Su Fengxi was startled by this old man's appearance. Ling Tian noticed this and also noticed that the Su siblings were also feeling uneasy. Ling Tian could imagine that this old man must have some important position in this sect as it is quite obvious with his cultivation level.

The old man turned and looked at Elder Sun and Su Fengxi with a cold expression and asked, ” Fourth Elder and Tenth Elder, are you courting death?”

The old man released a huge pressure on the place that it started to tremble. But on Ling Tian's side no one felt anything different. Because they were near Ling Tian, Elder Sun and the others were surrounded by an invisible barrier. But this was not made by energy, but pure intent.

' How cliché. These cultivators sure like to go around and release their pressure here and there.' Ling Tian thought sarcastically when he saw the old man pressuring the place with his cultivation base.

” Third Elder..” Su Fengxi muttered with an uneasy tone.

She turned to look at Ling Tian who was smiling at her and for some unknown reason, she felt very safe.

Ling Tian saw that Su Fengxi was not feeling nervous anymore and turned to the Su siblings. Su Mengyan had an angry expression, Su Lingyan had a nervous expression, Su Yu had a scared expression, while Su Xumei had an... Uneasy expression.

Ling Tian secretly sent some of his nature energy into their body and they too started to calm down.

Ling Tian turned to Elder Sun and saw that he was perfectly fine. So he asked, ” Old man, what's that old guy's deal?”

The old man's eyes twitched when he heard what Ling Tian called him. Elder Sun simply smiled and said, ” He's the Third Elder of Spirit Advent Sect, Ye Xiyuan of the Ye clan.”

” Third Elder? Like you?”

” Yes. But he's ranked higher than me.” Elder Sun said.

” Hmm.. The guy must have an important position in that Ye clan, right?” Ling Tian asked.

” Actually, the Ye clan is divided into two factions, of which, one of them is lead by the Supreme Elder and the other by the First Elder. Ye Xiyuan is actually the second strongest in the First Elder's faction and is also their treasurer.” Elder Sun explained to Ling Tian.

” Treasurer?!” Ling Tian's ears perked up when he heard the word 'Treasurer' and he looked at Ye Xiyuan.

” Are you really that 'Legendary' Treasurer of that 'frightening' Ye clan?” Ling Tian asked Ye Xiyuan in a trembling voice.

Ye Xiyuan was surprised for a bit and also felt that something was odd, but he just couldn't pinpoint it. What was even more strange was that he couldn't figure out this boy's cultivation level. But it didn't bother him too much since the opposite party was only a teenager.

” .... ” Ye Xiyuan didn't say anything to Ling Tian and simply ignored him.

Ling Tian wasn't bothered by the disregard Ye Xiyuan showed him.

Elder Sun stared at Ling Tian with a strange expression.

” .... ” Elder Sun finally understood what Ling Tian was upto and was kind of looking forward to it.

Because not long ago, a thief managed to get through the protection formation of the treasure vault and steal their family heirloom.” Elder Sun said to Ling Tian with a smile, but that smile looked like that of an old fox enjoying the misfortune of others.

Su Mengyan, Su Fengxi and the other two didn't quite understand what Elder Sun and Ling Tian was talking about, but Su Lingyan was looking at Ling Tian with a helpless expression as she sort of figured out what Ling Tian is planning. But this time, she didn't try to stop him.

” Hm? Is it really safe for him carry it around with him?” Ling Tian couldn't help but ask.

Elder Sun also suddenly remembered something and the joy he was feeling lessened as he said, ” Supposedly, he has a '3 star low grade Saint Rank Spatial element artifact'. With that he can escape from anyone, unless it's a Divine Emperor who's targeting him. But a Divine Emperor has countless times the wealth of Ye clan, so they wouldn't even bother with it.”

” I see..” Ling Tian said as he thought, ' Looks like I can't toy around with him. It would be bad if this guy escapes. Guess I have to go all out.'

Ling Tian made a decision in his mind and looked at Ye Xiyuan.

Ye Xiyuan didn't know why, but all his cells in his body was screaming for him to run away from here.

” Thanks for bringing the your clan's treasury by the way. I'll thankfully take it.” Ling Tian said with a grateful smile but his eyes were looking at Ye Xiyuan greedily. Ling Tian's eyes turned red and the Tomoe in his pupils were spinning as they started to form a new pattern.

Unknown to Ling Tian, the Original Sin Spirit Root was amplifying his greed to the point where Ling Tian had purposely revealed that he was the one responsible for Ye Gouyi's tragedy, which resulted in Ye Xiyuan showing hostility towards Ling Tian, which was exactly what Ling Tian wanted. Because the quest states that he steal from the ones that has ill intent towards him.

Ye Xiyuan was startled and didn't want to take chances as he immediately took out a palm sized silver coloured prism and shouted, ” Transfer!”

A silver light came out of the silver coloured prism and encompassed Ye Xiyuan. But suddenly the entire surrounding turned red in colour, as if other colours were vanquished from existence.

The Silver light immediately vanished without a trace and Ye Xiyuan stood there in place with a shocked face.

” Where do you think you're going?” A joking voice immediately caused Ye Xiyuan to snapped out of his stupor.

Ye Xiyuan looked at the Young man who was looking at him with those terrifying eyes.

” You!! Who are you??!!” Ye Xiyuan was a bit scared.

” Hm? Oh? Where are my manners?.. I'm Ling Tian, an ordinary outer court disciple.” Said Ling Tian with a friendly smile.

Elder Sun and others mouth twitched when they heard Ling Tian's introduction to Ye Xiyuan.
