39 Heavenly Lightning Scripture. (1/2)

Shawn was looking at Ling Tian and realized that, this was nowhere near the true power of Ling Tian's Legendary Super Saiyan form. Ling Tian's Ki was constantly increasing by each passing second.

” Hurrgghh...Haaarrgghh!!!”

Ling Tian let out a beastly war cry and the undamaged temple started to take damage due to Ling Tian's sudden burst of strength.

” Not good! This brat!” Shawn grunted and disappeared in a flash and appeared behind Ling Tian and struck his back neck with the intention of knocking out Ling Tian.

” Grr?” Ling Tian looked like he didn't even feel it and looked at Shawn for a second before getting angry and punching at Shawn.

*Bam!*

Shawn got struck by Ling Tian's fist and he moved backwards to reduce the impact.

” Damn! Are Super Saiyan transformation supposed to increase one's power that much?! I know that I only exist as a spirit body, but I still have a fighting power of a peak Divine Emperor! Looks like his powers have already transcended the limits of Heaven's Fall World.” Shawn sighed as he felt his arms tingling from the impact of Ling Tian's fist.

” I was thinking of having a bit more time talking to my grandson. But looks like I have to expend all the energy of this spirit body to wake him up.” Shawn muttered as he looked at Ling Tian with a mysterious glint in his eyes.

” .... Gran....Kill... Gran... Kill!!!” Ling Tian roared as his energy spiked and he charged at Shawn.

Ling Tian punched at Shawn, but Shawn evaded the strike by a hair's breadth and got close to Ling Tian. He placed his hand on Ling Tian's forehead and released a white light and injected it into Ling Tian's sea of consciousness.

Ling Tian stopped moving and his bulky body started to contract and returned to it's lean state. His hair turned black again. But his eyes were blood red now. He jumped away from Shawn.

” 20% huh?” Ling Tian muttered as he clenched his fist.

Ling Tian looked Shawn in annoyance and said, ” Annoying geezer! You just had to interfere, didn't you? If only you had stay put for a while, we would have completely fused.”

Shawn looked at Ling Tian in shock and confusion.

” You are Rayne, at the same time you are not Rayne! Just who are you?” Shawn asked with calm expression.

” You are right, old fart! I am Rayne or rather, the instincts of Rayne. I am his Saiyan instincts!” Ling Tian said in an emotionless tone.

” What?! How can such a thing be possible? For instincts to possess it's own consciousness.” Shawn said in disbelief.

” I believe you have something to say to me, instead of just standing there gawking.” Ling Tian asked with an impatient tone.

” Sigh~. You really are impatient, aren't you?” Shawn asked.

” Hmph! It's more like you don't have much time!” Ling Tian replied, feeling irritated.

” .... So if I ask you to spare Gran, will you do it?” Shawn asked with a wry smile.

” Don't even bother old fart! Even my true self will never forgive that scum, despite his naivety, much less me, his Saiyan instincts!” Ling Tian answered instantly with an annoyed expression.

” I see.” Shawn didn't show any disappointed expression after hearing Ling Tian's instant reply.

” I did have a lot to talk with you, but unfortunately the source energy to sustain this spirit body was used up when I woke you up. So lets make this quick. You see that black pearl on the formation that was used to bring you here. That pearl is called Black Saint Space Pearl.” Shawn paused for a moment before continuing.

” Black Saint Space Pearl is one of the three god rank artifacts of the 'Artifact God World' in Immortal Realm, along with the Glazed Ice Pearl and Nine Sun Fire Pearl. It can help you cultivate the Advent Yin-Yang Art I had left for you. Also don't reveal these artifacts once you ascend to Immortal Realm. And the Life Blood Jade can purify your bloodline and increase your bloodline level.” Shawn started shining at this point.

” And for the low grade heaven rank Spirit Essence pills, they can assist you in achieving breakthroughs much faster. And for the sword, it can change forms to match the users taste and it will be useful for you until you ascend to a higher realm. And and.... Live well and don't get consumed by hate!!” Shawn's body started to disintegrate into particles of light.

” I'll be waiting for you at God's Realm!” By saying that, Shawn had completely disappeared.
