The next day, the filming officially started. Ye Ningxiao sat in front of the mirror as the makeup artist behind her began working on her face.

”It's really pretty.” makeup artist sighed as she looked at the beautiful face reflected in the mirror.

”Thank you.” Ye Ningxiao gently smiled, and said thanks.

The makeup artist looked at her face in satisfaction, ”Alright, I've finished putting on my makeup.”

She nodded and stood up.

Han Aoluo had not finished his makeup when the first act came up. It was a fight between her and Ye Ningxiao.

Her beautiful face was covered with thick makeup, and her mouth was painted with a bright red color. Her hair was tied together, and only a few strands were left hanging down.

”Alright.” makeup artist stopped.

Han Aoluo nodded her head modestly, with a haughty look on her face, she prepared to go to the locker room to change.

Seeing that she had left, Ye Ningxiao also picked up the jacket that was draped over the chair and walked out of the dressing room.

As soon as she came out, she attracted a lot of attention. She wore a pure white knee-length skirt and a beige lace jacket. Only a faint makeup was painted on her face, as if her eyes were glistening with autumn water.

Seeing her, the director smiled and walked towards her, patting her on the shoulder, ”Ningxiao, do your best in a while.”

”Begin!” The director's voice boomed.

Following the order given, the surrounding cameras turned towards the two of them from all angles.

She looked coldly at the woman in front of her. Her arms were crossed over her chest, and because she was not wearing much, her face turned white in the cold wind.

”Are you leaving or not?!” The gorgeous woman with the thick makeup on the front issued a sharp question.

”You don't have the right to ask me that. You're not one of his men.” She replied coldly with no expression on her face. However, there was a hint of indifference in her tone. Even her tone remained the same.

The director, who was watching at the side, smiled in satisfaction. As expected of the leading actress he had chosen himself, he seemed to be the most lively person in the movie.

”Who said I'm not her? I'm her fiancée. Everyone has already decided on this matter.” A hint of anger surfaced on Han Aoluo's face, as if he was angered by her words.

Ye Ningxiao frowned, ”You should know your own reputation. You should know what he loves and it's not something you can control.”

”You …” Han Aoluo suddenly walked over, picked up the vase of flowers and poured it over to her, a pleased smile on his lips.

Ye Ningxiao was unable to dodge in time, and was so caught off guard that he was splashed with water, falling onto his lower body's skirt.

”Ka!” The director frowned, ”Han Aoluo, how did you act? Who allowed you to laugh like that?

The lifted lips of Han Aoluo immediately disappeared as she bit her lips.

Ye Ningxiao's entire body shivered from the cold, her lips turned white. The weather in Rui City was cold to begin with, but now that the cold water was poured on her, it made it even colder.

”Ningxiao, go and change your clothes.” The director slowed down his tone when he spoke to her, and the difference between the two could be seen.

She nodded and smiled at the director, indicating that she didn't mind. After all, actors were like this, they had to endure hardships.

However, after a while, she changed into a similar set of clothes and walked out.

”Pa — —” As the chair fell to the ground, Ye Ningxiao was once again drenched from head to toe. This time, not only the lower half of his body was splashed with water, but even his hair was drenched from head to toe.
