Chapter 7 Embarrassing Moments (1/2)

Long Xi was responsible for Xiaolu.

Every time when Long Xi found that his mind was straying in class or he was sleepy, she would pull his sleeve and let him listen carefully. Fan Xiaolu was used to being free and he didn't want to be controlled by her.

After class, they often argued with each other.

In Long Xi's point of view, Fan Xiaolu was a mixture of different ideas and emotions.

In the eyes of Long Xi, Fan Xiaolu was like Tom Holland at the age of 18 or 19. He was a lovely and optimistic boy who never grew up. Sometimes, he was considerate and made others around him feel warm. He didn't like competing and fighting with others and was indifferent to fame and wealth.

Sometimes he was a naughty child and occasionally he would play jokes on her, such as tying her braid to the seat, drinking the water in her kettle or hiding her textbook.

Sometimes, he was clever and good at drawing references while sometimes, he was dull and cute.

After getting along for a long time, she found that Fan Xiaolu was actually very smart and could understand things quickly.

The reason why he didn't study hard was that he got in a rage with his mother.

Fan Xiaolu was an illegitimate child of a very beautiful and famous female star. People didn't know who was his father. But it was said that he was a well-known director.

Xiaolu had a dream since his childhood.

He wanted to be an idol singer. He planned to be a trainee at first and then made his debut.

His mother Fan Qianqian had gone through it and thought that people in the entertainment industry looked glamorous, but they endured great hardship. Every day they had to face the dangerous vanity fair. Therefore, she strongly opposed him to do this. She hoped that he could finish high school and attend the college entrance examination, study financial trade and be a businessman in the future.

Fan Xiaolu couldn't understand why his mother didn't support his dream and he once asked Long Xi, ”I insist on my dream, is that wrong? I am confident that I can keep my innocence in the big dye tank of the entertainment industry!”

Long Xi thought seriously and said, ”If you really want to stick to your dreams, then you need to find a way to convince your mom and don't waste your time. You have to prove it to her that you can combine your dream of being a trainee with your education. There are many examples! For example, my idol was the campus beau and a straight A student before going to South Korea as a trainee. And your idol Qian Zong, who had been a star for so many years, is also a good student! And all the other stars you like, including Thomas Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Dan Stevens are all straight A student in school!”

Xiaolu put his head in his hands and listened carefully. It seemed that he accepted her ideas.

Long Xi continued to convince him, ”No matter what career you choose, you must devote before the harvest. The stars, who are glamorous, need to work hard and devote their time and energy to their career. They must strive unremittingly. They hide sweat and tears and showed the most beautiful part to the audiences. They combine their life experience into their acting skills and express their positive personal attitudes in their songs.”

Xiaolu nodded and agreed to her words.

So, Long Xi continued and threw her bait, ”I know you are a foodie, so every time you improve your academic performance, I will make delicious food for you.”

This sentence was more useful than what she had said before. From that day on, his attitudes towards learning became more serious.
