Chapter 3 A Temporary Loss of Memory (1/2)

”Yes, I'm an alien,” the blue-eyed man answered.

Long Xi was speechless. Had she time-travelled into a science fiction film? She had thought it was a horror film.

Silent for a good while, the blue-eyed man said, ”Sister Long Xi, thank you for saving me.”

”Ah? Did I save you? Did I have this ability?” Long Xi was more confused.

She tried to recall what happened last night, but her memory was messed up, which caused her to feel a sharp pain.

Because of the pain, the tears in her eyes also flowed out like clear spring water and fell on her rosy cheek. She looked like a weeping beauty, which caused pity for her.

The blue-eyed man stretched out an arm and said kindly, ”Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is MK, from an asteroid far away from the Earth, the Planet BT.”

MK deliberately showed a sincere, innocent, and healing smile, which was as charming as different kinds of flowers in full bloom in the spring and was warm as if it were able to melt the snow in high mountains. Hence, Long Xi relaxed her vigilance.

Long Xi felt that MK did not have bad intention, so she reached out her small hand and shook with his big hand.

Her soft little hand was held by his warm and powerful hand, which made her feel comfortable and unwilling to let it go.

”Planet BT? Is he really an alien?”

She reluctantly released her grip and blushed for her own sloppy behavior.

MK did not seem to mind it and said, ”I just absorbed all your memory, copied one in my mind and learned your language.”

Long Xi was shocked and said, ”You're so awesome? You not only could absorb my memory, but you have the strong ability to learn language? Do you have super powers?”

”If you meant the supernatural powers, no, I don't have. I'm a scientist on our planet and respect science, so I don't believe those things that have no scientific basis. A year ago, I discovered a spatio-temporal tunnel near our planet. It's like the wormhole earthmen said. I took the spacecraft that I invented and entered the tunnel. By the way, the speed of the spacecraft was close to the speed of light. Little did I expect that I spent one year in the tunnel and I were still unable to pass through it. The tunnel was too long and dark, and seemed endless.” He explained patiently.

Long Xi felt like she watching ”Interstellar”!

”The food on the spacecraft had run out and I thought I would die in the tunnel. I didn't expect that my spacecraft was suddenly sucked out by an invisible force, went straight through the earth's atmosphere and hit the earth,” he said.

”He had a narrow escape. How exciting!” Long Xi widened her eyes.

”The one over there that was like a coffin in your mind is actually the single-cabin spacecraft that I invented. Its speed is close to the speed of light, so I call it Light-speed Spacecraft. Fortunately, my spacecraft is made of the hardest intelligent platinum alloy in our planet and it has perfect protection system and explosion-proof facilities, so although the spacecraft violently collided with the ground and even resulted in the hole, it did not explode,” he added.

”Why did you design the spacecraft like a coffin? It scared the hell out of me.”

”But the central system of the spacecraft was damaged. I couldn't open the door of the spacecraft. I had been trapped in the spacecraft for seven days and couldn't get out. Fortunately, you accidentally bumped into the outer switch of my spacecraft, which is the skeleton flower carved from jade. You turned on the switch by chance and saved me. Thank you,” he said.

Long Xi recalled that a few days ago, they were in class, and there was a loud noise from the back of the mountain. Then they saw a cloud of dust and smoke. As the back of the mountain was haunted, teachers and students thought it was a paranormal event, and no one dared to come here to check out.

”It turned out to be the huge sound of his spaceship hitting the ground! So I saved him by chance?” Long Xi nodded and put on a look that ”I totally believe in your words.”
