Mo Ranran and Ministry Wang were at odds with each other, neither giving up. If they were to examine the corpse, they might be able to find out something.
”Your majesty, how can this be? This humble subject does not wish to see him die in a state of unrest. ” When Ministry Wang heard that he was going to examine a corpse, his expression immediately changed.
He didn't want to be treated like that even after his death.
”Didn't Ministry Wang want me to pay with my life? If the coroner finds out that I killed him, then I am willing to pay with my life for your son's death. Mo Ranran glanced at Ministry Wang, his eyes flashed, and his voice carried a tinge of coldness.
A trace of struggle flashed through Ministry Wang's eyes.
”Ministry Wang, if the culprit was really someone else, if you do not test him, wouldn't you be letting the culprit get away scot-free?” The Emperor's eyes flickered as he spoke slowly.
He believed that Mo Ranran was not lying. In that case, it was very possible that someone had purposefully framed the crime in order to use the death of Ministry Wang's son to harm Mo Ranran.
Ministry Wang hesitated for a moment, thinking of his own son, he resolutely agreed.
”Test, the Emperor will test.”
It was obvious that the Ministry Wang listened to what the Emperor said.
Since Ministry Wang's rule was to die at home, the Emperor first sent his corpse to the coroner's office for an autopsy.
In the room where the coroner was examined, Ministry Wang's eyes were filled with tears as he looked at his son's corpse.
Mo Ranran looked at Ministry Wang, and handed him a handkerchief, ”Here, wipe it.”
Ministry Wang originally wanted to take it, but when he saw that it was Mo Ranran, he glared at her fiercely and left.
Mo Ranran kept her handkerchief and glanced at the corpse in the corner of her eyes, her brows knitted slightly. To confirm that Mo Ranran was right, he walked closer and approached the corpse.
”You murderer, stay away from my son!” Seeing that Mo Ranran wanted to touch his son, the Ministry Wang could not help but roar.
Mo Ranran calmly took a few steps back, and looked indifferently at Ministry Wang.
”Your son died of poisoning.”
”Impossible!” ”How could he be poisoned?” Ministry Wang did not believe Mo Ranran's words. She only thought that she was trying to justify herself.
Mo Ranran did not refute him, and only indicated for Ministry Wang to look.
”Look, it's dark.”
Ministry Wang could not not believe the coroner's answer.
Ministry Wang turned his head and saw that the silver needles on his body had turned black.
”What Miss Mo said is right, he died from lethal poison.” The coroner slowly spoke as he pulled out the silver needle.
”Impossible, how could it be poison? You must have tested wrongly, it must be …” Ministry Wang stared at the silver needle in the coroner's hand. He looked pale, but his voice was getting softer and softer.
”Ministry Wang, if you don't believe me, it won't work.” The coroner's face turned cold. No one would be willing to be doubted of their ability.
”The Ministry Wang is just a little unable to accept it for the time being. Everyone, please continue.” Mo Ranran stood out and spoke a few words on behalf of the Ministry Wang before pulling him along and walking out.
Ministry Wang shook off Mo Ranran's hand that was holding him, and said with a cold tone.
”Don't pull me, I'm not leaving.”
”Then you keep it.” Mo Ranran glanced at the coroners who were about to be dissected, and left the house.
The coroner did not bother with Ministry Wang at the side. After he finished preparing the tools, he began to examine the corpse.
After a while, Ministry Wang walked out with a pale face, and started vomiting while squatting on the ground.
Mo Ranran quietly shifted his gaze away.
After an unknown period of time, the coroner was finally finished with his examination.
”The deceased died from poison last night, someone poisoned his food, it's very possible that the killer is someone the deceased is familiar with.” The coroner expressionlessly said.
Ministry Wang looked at the interior of the house with a pale face. He looked to be a lot more dispirited, because his son was actually poisoned to death by someone, but he did not know it at all.
”Miss Mo, I was wrong, I was wrong, I'm sorry.” Ministry Wang looked at Mo Ranran apologetically. There was a trace of sadness in his voice.
Mo Ranran looked at the Ministry Wang who seemed to have aged by a lot, his eyebrows slightly raised, as he slowly spoke: ”There's something wrong with the servant by your son's side, he has the scent of the poison in your son's body, so the person who poisoned him should be him.”
”Impossible, he has no reason to interfere …” Ministry Wang shook his head. It was probably because he had received too much stimulation and his emotions were a little off.
Mo Ranran slowly sighed, and spoke in a soft voice: ”Who told you that your son was beaten to death by me?”
”Yes …” Receiving Mo Ranran's reminder, Ministry Wang's face changed. He seemed to have thought of something and ran away hastily.
”Thank you for your hard work today. In another day, I will definitely prepare a set of gifts for you.” Mo Ranran bowed towards the coroner, his attitude humble and amiable.
The coroner was shocked by Mo Ranran, and immediately supported her.
”There's no need for Miss Mo to be so polite, this is what this official should do.”
He could not accept Mo Ranran's courtesy any longer …
After bidding farewell to the coroner, Mo Ranran rushed back to the Ministry Wang's house. She wanted to see what kind of courage the servant had and how he dared to frame her.
