”You won't send me off?”
Gu Nan Yin pretended to be indifferent as she said, ”I'm not a child, so I still need to send you off.”
Yun Xiao was speechless and turned around in disappointment.
Gu Nan Yin suddenly felt a little uneasy. ”Wait a moment.” She sighed. ”Forget it, I'll send you off to prevent others from saying that our Gu family is rude.”
Yun Xiao did not turn his head, but a smile flashed across his face.
As the two walked out of the door, Yun Xiao silently got into the car.
Gu Nanyin waved at him, ”Bye bye, see you tomorrow.”
”So perfunctory?”
Gu Nan Yin let out a long sigh, bowed respectfully and said, ”Greetings to Chief Yun. I hope that Chief Yun will have a pleasant journey and look forward to seeing you next time.”
Yun Xiao was almost amused by her expression, but he quickly suppressed it as he said, ”En, that's more like it. Let's go back, see you tomorrow.”
As the car sped away, Gu Nanyin stood up and rolled her eyes at the man's departing figure.
That night, Gu Nanyin was lying in bed. Just as she was about to go to sleep, she saw a faintly swaying blurry figure in front of the window. Terrified, she secretly picked up her phone and called the security chief who was guarding the backyard.
After a while, he heard the sound of security guards running over. The shadow quickly disappeared, and Gu Nan Yin rushed over to open the door. The security chief stood outside with a group of security guards holding batons behind him.
”Second Miss, are you alright? We were inadequately guarded, and when we rushed over, that person ran out of the courtyard. We've checked, and didn't lose anything valuable, do you want to chase after him or not? ”
”Since he didn't lose anything, then forget about it. He didn't get any benefits anyways. Besides, I don't want more people to know that I live here.”
”It's good that you're fine. Second Miss, we'll be leaving first. Call us if you have anything to say.”
”Yes.” Gu Nanyin nodded.
After the security guards left, Gu Nan Yin shut the door tightly and hugged the quilt, hiding it under her blanket.
