294 292 Evening surrounding the franc (1/2)

night. There was no banquet on the boulder today, and it was Fran's lecture.

In the first place, the kids finally got used to Fran talking about adventure. Then the adults wanted to hear the story, and it was sometime the evening that surrounded Fran.

The first thing I was talking about was Adventure Tan. Fran isn't the type of guy who can talk funny and crazy, but he sounds more realistic by lightly talking about fighting Rich and the fierce battles at militant competitions. Everyone was sipping solidly and listening to Fran's words.

”So Leviathan helped me”

”Ooh!

”Wow!

When Fran finishes his story, everyone is exhaling and wiping the sweat off his forehead. I wonder how focused I was listening.

”What's next?

”I want to hear more!

”Mm.”

I've spoken more or less of the warrior tradition that seems to speak. Fran is also worried. So now I decided to talk about mythology.

It's not a fun story, but what our own ancestors did and why they can no longer evolve. I didn't think it would hurt to know that.

”Once upon a time, the Black Cats were very great. From now on, I can't believe...”

Now you know it looks like a different story from the previous martial arts tradition. The Black Cats listen to each other in an intriguing way.

But as Fran's story progressed, their faces became more serious with Don.

There is no one to chat with, just quietly, and I keep listening to Fran silently, not listening to any words.

That the head of the Black Cat Clan was once the Beast King. That its royal family ran wild and tried to take in the power of the evil gods and target the hegemony of the world. That God's wrath and divine punishment were inflicted because of it. That I have been shackled by evolution because of it. Hunting evil men is their atonement.

”- Above”

When I finished listening to Fran, the villagers were silent with a strange face. I heard a bigger story than I imagined, and I guess I haven't swallowed it.

Then, as the village chief went forward in front of everyone, he bowed his head to Fran.

”Thank you for sharing a very valuable story”

”Mmm.”

”It's done for you”

Now the village chief, turning to the villagers, shouts out loud.

”Everyone! You heard from the princess! The sins of our ancestors! A great sin that will mourn your hair! But don't mourn! The generous gods have shown us the way to atone for that sin! Besides, if we follow that path, we could even reach evolution! It's not the lonely journey I've been walking in fear of loneliness and violence, not knowing which way to go, like a kitten thrown out in the dark or weak, like before! It's a way of testing to restore strength, honor and dignity! I've made up my mind! We raise the village and aim to make amends for our sins! There's no compulsion! But - I hope many will walk with me.”

That's right, you're just playing village chief. I overheard it. The Black Cats seemed to do the same with it, and the silence falls on the square.

But the next moment, the clap of thunder was breaking the silence. All the Black Cat clans are up and ringing their hands. That's not all.

”I'll definitely let it evolve!

”I'm too old for evolution, but I'll help you as much as I can!

”I will inscribe the princess's words on the tablet!

Everyone agrees with the words of the village chief. It's not just about evolution, it's about sinning at the same time. He was so determined. I was also surprised that you believed Fran's words without question, but I was also surprised that there was nothing like anger at God.

I guess because worship of those who say God is so ingrained that I was born on Earth that I can't even imagine it. To say we have been cut off by God is bad for us. That's what I thought naturally. Well, if it was a world where God actually is, would it be?
