20 Conquered their hearts (1/2)

Camillo was the first one to break the silence as he started to clap. Noah and the others followed the suit.

Isabella snapped out of her trance after hearing the thunderous applause.

” You conquered their hearts..” Camillo grinned as he pointed towards the excited crowd.

Isabella smiled under the mask, though her smile is not visible her eyes radiated happiness.

Art is the only thing that makes her happy and it's only through art she can express her real feelings.

The family which she painted is her dream from childhood. She never knew her father and her mother didn't want her and Eric. Deep in her heart, she knew how much she and her brother missed father and mother.

When Noah said dream, Isabella felt a tinge of pain in her heart. She immediately remembered her non-existent family. She wished that she had a small and happy family. So, she painted her dream..

” Sir.. From now on I am your student” Noah Harris saluted like a soldier making Isabella roll her eyes at his antics.

Isabella turned around and walked towards the graffiti which Noah made.

' It's good..' Isabella genuinely liked it. This kid drew a young boy breaking through the shackles of society norms and the faint light in the room reflecting his happy face resembling a thread of hope even in the night of terror..

” Ahem!” Noah ran his hands through his hair sheepishly ” It's not that good..”

” I like it..” Isabella interrupted him ” I really like it..”

Noah's face turned beet red on getting complimented by his idol. He was sure that his idol will never lie. Don't ask him how he knew.. He just knew it and you have to believe him.

” Thank you...” Noah replied feeling giddy with happiness.

” hmm.. you are good” Isabella looked at his eyes while speaking ” but you can be better and I can mould you into best.”

Noah stared at the pair of ruby red eyes and it took a while before he came to a sudden and awesome realisation ” Y-you w-w-will teach me?” he whispered stiffly as his words got stuck in his throat.

” Only if you are able to meet me standards in math..” Isabella had an evil smirk under her mask ” If I am satisfied I will teach you whenever I have time.”
