5 A tutor.. (1/2)

Isabella rode her bicycle with all her strength and the cold wind blowing across her face calmed her thumping heart.

Soon, she reached their apartments and hurriedly boarded the lift.

The door opened with a bang and Eric who has been engrossed in the movie lifted his head..

He frowned on seeing Isabella's red face.

” Why did you ride so fast on such a cold day wearing such thin clothes? Look at you, your face is frost-bitten now..” Eric was displeased with his elder sister.

” It's nothing.. I will be ok after a bath. Eric, make some thing light for dinner..”

” We are only having bread and milk.. Even if you want something extravagant we are having nothing..” Eric joked while entering the kitchen to toast the bread.

Isabella's hand shook but she silently entered her room and closed the door. She threw her backpack and grabbed her night pants and entered her bath.

Isabella soaked in the tub with hot water for a while and changed into a neat set of pajamas.

Isabella forgot that she had been kissed forcefully.. Right now, only Eric's words are revolving in her mind. Though he did not say on purpose, she knew that their current situation is very difficult.

Isabella looked at her little spiral notebook and looked at the list of shops she prepared. She found that there are about ten shops remaining. So, she sighed and kept the book back in her backpack.

” You still have a chance..” Isabella comforted herself.

” Bella, dinner is ready..” Eric shouted from kitchen.

Both brother and sister finished dinner and Isabella took up the role of cleaning dishes..

” Goodnight Bella..” Eric yawned while entering his room.

” Night Eric..” Isabella sighed and after finishing cleaning everything Isabella switched off the lights and entered her room.

Isabella sat on her bed and opened her laptop. She then checked her email and her actions froze for a moment..
