New York.. Another boring day

' Wake up.. Wake up.. It's a brand new day..'

A young girl grunted and woke up with a pout. She looked at her smart phone as if it's her greatest enemy on earth.

She quickly switched off the alarm and covered herself in the sheets while hugging the medium sized teddy tightly.

But, her peaceful sleep did not last long as her human alarm started to shout outside her door.

” Isabella..” though she heard, she did not respond..

” Isabella..” she ignored the voice.

” Isabella.. get up you lazy bones..”

” It's Sunday.. let me sleep peacefully today..” Isabella mumbled in her sleep.

” Isabella.. today is the day of your part-time job search..” a tired voice answered her. In an instant all her sleep left her body and she sat up straight on the bed.

Isabella rubbed her eyes and froze on the spot. How dare he call me by my name..

” Eric..” Isabella shouted.

Outside the door, a young boy in his teens smirked on hearing her angry voice. He was waiting to hear her agitated voice. It sounded like a blessing to him.. He clearly considered as a omen of good luck.. So, he happily went into his room with a feeling of accomplishment.

” You damned brat.. how dare you call your big sis by name.” Isabella is really angry at her younger brother. How dare he disrespect her..

But, her anger faded away as she looked at the time. It's 7:00 AM and her brother woke up so early just to wake her up from sleep. So, what if he angered her.. She excused him for his behaviour and hurried into the bathroom to get ready.
