Chapter 571 - The Bun Mountain (2/2)

Qin Haodong said, “You’d better go back now. You have to catch a plane tomorrow.”

Ouyang Shanshan answered with reluctance, “But I want to stay with you for a little longer.”

“We’ll have a chance in the future. It will soon be dawn if we continue walking.”

“Will there really be another chance in the future?”

Ouyang Shanshan looked at him with burning eyes and asked.

“There should be one!”

Qin Haodong was also not sure about it.

“Well, take me back to the hotel.”

The two strolled back to the hotel where Ouyang Shanshan lived. Qin Haodong removed the magic on her face and sent her back to her room.

“Have a good rest. I gotta go.”

Just as he was about to leave, Ouyang Shanshan suddenly reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck. She asked softly, “Can you stay with me tonight?”

Qin Haodong slowly pulled her arms away and kissed her forehead gently and replied, “This is not fair to you and you will regret it in the future.”

Ouyang Shanshan said, “I won’t regret it. I’m willing to give you my everything.”

“Even if you don’t regret it now then it doesn’t mean that you won’t regret it in the future.”

Qin Haodong pushed her down on the bed and said softly, “Go to sleep. It’s almost dawn.”

Then he left the room and closed the door. He shook his head slightly and strode out of the hotel.

When the door closed, Ouyang Shanshan’s heart sank to the bottom. It seemed that she was destined to not have him.

She sat at the bedside for a long time. Suddenly, there was the sound of the door being opened.

“Haodong, are you back again?”

Ouyang Shanshan was overjoyed thinking that Qin Haodong had changed his mind. She stood up and rushed to the door.

Before she could see the person outside the door, her mouth was covered by a big hand. Then a pungent smell attacked her nostrils and she passed out.

Qin Haodong had left the hotel and returned to the restaurant, Violet, to get his own car. When he started driving back, the sky had already begun to turn bright and the sun was about to rise.

Not long after, he suddenly received a call from a strange number.

He frowned and pressed the answer button. A ferocious voice sounded out from the other side, “Boy, the superstar is in our hands.”

Qin Haodong pressed on the brakes immediately and pulled over at the side. He asked, “Who are you?”

“You b*stard! You just hit me and now you ask me who I am? I am your master Segou!” Segou roared angrily. “You b*tch couple! I’ve been waiting for you at the hotel for the whole night and now I finally got the superstar.”

“What do you want?” Qin Haodong asked coldly.

Although he just turned her down, he would never allow her to be hurt.

Segou answered, “Young man, do you think you can get away with it? Prepare 30 million yuan for me as soon as possible or I’ll take naked photos of the superstar.”

Qin Haodong said, “30 million yuan is too much. Can you reduce it a little?”

30 million was not a big number to him now, but he didn’t want to accept it too readily or that he would arouse the suspicion of the other party.

Segou cried, “Don’t talk nonsense. I’ve already heard that you own Lin’s Jewelry. You have money to hook up with a star, so how come you don’t have the money to compensate us. 30 million yuan and not a cent less, or I’ll sell naked photos of the superstar to the paparazzi. ”

Qin Haodong said, “Well, tell me where you are and I’ll bring you the money.”

“Go towards South City. I will call you again after you have left the urban area.” Segou said fiercely, “You better be quick or I don’t know what my brothers will do to the superstar.”

Qin Haodong said with a cold voice, “Mark my words. I can give you the money, but if you dare to touch even a strand of hair on her, I will make your life a living hell.”

Although they didn’t have a face-to-face conversation, Segou still felt a chill down the spine which made him tremble.

“Boy, do you think I will be scared? Don’t call the police or you’ll be waiting to collect the superstar’s body.”

After throwing a few hard words with difficulty, he hung up the phone in a hurry.

Qin Haodong made a U-turn and drove straight towards South City.

It was early morning and there were very few vehicles on the road. He drove the Mercedes with the utmost speed and it took him less than ten minutes to get out of the South City of Shanghai.

The other party seemed to be keeping track of his movements at all times. As soon as he drove out of the urban area, he received a call from Segou. According to the instructions he received, he drove to a hill about 60 kilometers away from the city center.

It was more like a small hill than a mountain although the GPS indicated that this place was called Bun Mountain.

The Bun Mountain was barren and not even a blade of grass grew. There was green pastures and lush trees just at the foot of the mountain.

After parking the car, a flash of doubt arose in his heart. “Isn’t it just extortion of money? Why would they choose such a remote place?”

At the top of the mountain, Ouyang Shanshan’s mouth was stuffed with a towel and she was tied to a chair as an electronic screen shone on her chest. It was a time bomb.
