Chapter 8 - 8 - Are you going to be my Ally or Enemy? (1/2)

A slender and tall figure quickly dashed over before taking hold of the unconscious boy on his arms.

”Black, give me the highest cure medicine you got right now!”

Black worriedly remind, ”Host current level is low, the medicine is enough only to save him this time around, but it won't be able to completely cure him. Xen current body have numerous hidden damage in the long years of being affected from his Cold Poison by only upgrading the current system level will be able to find more useful medicine at the shop in order to fully cure Xen Cold Poison, sorry Host, Black can only help you this much.”

Black might be a cheat existence but he was not omnipotent, he has to follow a certain rule in every world he appeared and Xen illness is unique, that Cold Poison on his body has certain mixture of aura's that belong to this world.

Cold, severe injuries, simply and deadly poison and even cancer, those could be easily solve by the system medicine but the Illness that the boy got, was made or given by a person with a certain talent in mystical aura in this world.

It's mean that the illness called Cold Poison uniquely exist in this world thus such a simple cure cannot just heal it, no matter how miraculously the medicine and items belonging on his trade shop has.

The host just has too low level to compete against the 'special' auras with characteristic that uniquely exist in this world.

He has to be strong enough to fight over it in order to save Xen.

”It doesn't matter! Give it to me!”

Li Chen coldly insisted with a dangerous black ink eyes as he gently hold the unconscious young boy on his arms before shifting the boy body with a more comfortable position.

He finally found something that could influence him with great difficulty, how could he let it easily disappear just like that?

Something so interesting, something so warm, something that could move this calm heart of his!

Let it go and watch it disappear with his eyes?

Never!

He wont allow it! Nothing bad will happen to him!

The boy was born in order to meet him in this life!

His mere existence basically belong to him!

A round ball suddenly appeared on his hand, Li Chen quickly tried to make Xen swallow it but the boy small mouth was tightly shut, the blood still dripping from the bitten wound on the boy small lip.

Suddenly, Li Chen felt the water temperature in the hot spring fast turning cold, he felt the body on his arm started shivering.

Not Good!

Xen current body can no longer handle anymore damage, the injuries he suffered making it more dangerous for his life.

Damn! Damn!

He never thought that the boy hidden illness was extremely dangerous.

Li Chen long and slender finger swiftly touching the young boy pink lip ,forcefully opening it as he push the medicine inside the boy mouth, the medicine immediately turning into liquid, he hurriedly remove his slender finger to close the boy lip while accidentally touching the boy small tongue.

His ink black eyes shrinking and darkening from the wonderful soft feeling that linger on his finger, before using his finger to gently rub on the boy slender throat making the boy swallow the medicine inside his mouth.

A few minutes later, Li Chen felt the temperature of the water turning warm from the cold, his body slightly relaxing from relief as the boy body shivering started to lessen, however a soft and small hand swiftly grabbing his neck causing him to move still, his black ink eyes stared at the now unfocused wide amber eyes filled with instinctive alertness with a flash of killing intent on it.

The boy has stopped any further action as he stayed still, Li Chen could tell that the boy was currently sensing any danger in the surrounding area.

Li Chen just wait patiently in a rather relax state, waiting for the boy to regain his consciousness, he couldn't fault the boy action at all, despite the small hand currently holding his throat dangerously, it was an instinctive reaction of a person who was constantly worried over his life, that the boy just move instinctively in order to protect his own life from any danger that might befall him, specially when he was defenseless.

He just rather wish that the boy would soon fully trust him, oh he could tell that he has certain trust over the boy, him staying alive is already proof enough , if it was him, he has already took the person life, it doesn't matter if that person was innocent or not.

Li Chen life is far more important than a mere stranger after all and any tiny mistake causing harm over his life cannot be tolerated.

So he watch and wait before the alert amber eyes becoming focused, the dangerous amber eyes finally locking on his figure, the person who was currently holding on his body before slightly relaxing, the small hand gripping his throat was slowly removed after a slight glance of doubt but with certain tolerance over Li Chen current appearance on his rather bad situation.

By just that alone, Li Chen figure out that in the boy subconscious mind, he wasn't dangerous to his life where he would want him death but still retaining a bit of doubt and wary over his presence and actions.

Still suspicious that he might have some evil motion or plan against him even if he doesn't want him death.

Li Chen was still not being completely trusted... but he has long known that it wouldn't be easy, specially when the young boy seemed to be surrounded with a lot of people who wanted his life.

But that's alright, its already a miracle that Li Chen was being allowed to get close to the boy body this much, specially with his current special circ.u.mstances.

Black eyes flashing with a firm light, the boy will completely trust him soon.

He won't stop, specially when there was something that he wanted, troublesome or not.

Li Chen let his body radiated with warmth and kindness as he let out a very harmless aura over his figure since he knew that he cannot show even a tiny bit of dangerous emotion and reaction since the boy will definitely react in a negative and dangerous way if he just make one wrong move.

Li Chen know that it was the boy instinctive reaction of trying to protect his own life, of course he could understand it, the boy is defenseless, unguarded, just a single mistake will cause him death.

Specially when the boy seemed to have someone he wanted to protect at all cause.

The boy reaction to everything also let Li Chen knew certain thing about the boy life.

Definitely always in danger.

Definitely have people, numerous from what he could tell, that wanted his life.

And definitely has little few people that he trust.

The boy identity is definitely not a simple one, more importantly it was unquestionably a very special existence that numerous people scrambling to hunt his life down.

The boy probably belonging to a very influential Family.

Or an influential figure in certain place.
