Naga stopped walking when he reached a huge lake. He decided to stay and enjoy the peaceful scenery.
He walked for who knows how many hours already but he didn't see any sign that will confirm that the Elder is here.
'I should... No, I must see the Elder. I don't know how to go back.' He chuckled and smiled.
He started walking again. He saw a mountain from a far and he decided that it his next destination. After few hours of walking he reached another lake. He frowned since this lake is too familiar. He walked towards the lake and looked seriously at it.
”Do you like it?” Someone asked. It was an old man's voice.
Naga lightly turned his head and saw an old man wearing a commoner's hemp robe. The old man is smiling so his few remaining teeth are really apparent. He doesn't have a powerful presence but his calmness is too godly.
”Yes, it is.” Naga turned around and smiled.
”Good. Good. I created this lake for you.” The old man said smiling.
”This lake...” Before Naga can finish what he wanted to say, the old man interrupted him.
”Here for vacation?” The old man asked smiling.
”I'm not.” Naga said and smiled.
”I see. Haha!” The old man said and laughed.
”Honestly... I thought that you will give me a hard time looking for you, Elder.” Naga said and lightly bowed. He knew that he found who he's looking for.
”Naaah. Only those arrogant sages do that. I believe more on chances. Do you know that the door you opened can send you to different locations? Landing in this forest is your good luck...so it was a test of your luck. I guess? Haha!” The old man known as Elder said and laughed.
”Well, I should be thankful for having a good luck.. what a great fortune?” Naga said smiling.
”I guess? Hahaha!” The Elder laughed again.
”Come. Come. Follow me.” The Elder said. He turned around and started walking.
Naga followed him. They walked for two hours before reaching a small hut. The Elder told Naga to enter then he gave a small wooden chair to Naga and asked him to sit. Naga looked around and he noticed that everything inside the hut are only ordinary items. It is like a regular commoner's house.
”Now, what do you want from me?” The Elder asked.
”Questions. I have... questions and I hope that the respected Elder will help me.” Maga answered with a serious tone.
”Good. Good. So you are not here to ask secret techniques or some legendary artifacts?” The Elder asked.
”Yes. I only need your guidance respected Elder.” Naga said smiling.
”Good. Good. I will start cooking our food
Now, ask your questions.” The Elder said and went outside the hut.
”Now?” Naga asked.
”Then when, kid? While I am cooking, we should talk. Wasting time is more wasteful than wasting gold.” The Elder said and smile.
Naga was not able to reply. He is just looking at the old man who is busy preparing things he will need in cooking.
”Hey. Ask.” The Elder reminded Naga.
”The Lake.” Naga said.
”You here for that?” The Elder smiled.
”No. But...” Naga was not able to finish what he wanted to say.
”I know. I can see your soul. A Martial Saint. A General. A True Patriot. A.... Sinner.” The Elder said.
He looked at Naga and continued. ”You like lakes. You grew up near a lake with your sister...”
”She died near a lake too...” The Elder said while cutting some vegetables.
