39 After The Mission (1/2)
Naga went outside the room and saw Hextor. He is still holding the box. He can feel the tremendous aura inside and he believes that the box is restricting the thing inside.
”Congratulations, My Lord. It seems that the great deity gave you the approval.” Hextor said.
Naga smiled and didn't respond. They went outside the main and temple and Hextor guided him to a large manor outside the city. While walking they talked about what Naga is doing in the world outside. Hextor was stunned with what he heard but maintained his calmness. Naga is his master no matter what.
”You can stay here, Lord Naga. You can train here as well since the dragon power here is also high.” Hextor bowed and said.
”Thanks... I want to confirm... Bishop Luciano said that the flow of time here is different from our world, is that true?” He asked.
”Yes, My Lord. One of the reasons why this place is not suitable for the human race to live.”
Hextor continued, ”One week here is one month outside. This is the flaw of the space and time magic used by the deity to hide this place. The deity thought that this flaw is useful to us, dragons, too since unlike humans, we don't get old fast. Having years of peace here give us guarantee that the human enemies outside are getting much older and senile.” Hextor smiled.
”Oh... For dragons, that might really work. I am here for a few days now so I will make sure to train and increase my strength before leaving.” Naga said.
”That's good to know, My Lord. I will leave you for now and I will go to the human you locked up to get more information and to inform him that he already failed in getting the door.” Hextor said. He bowed and left after.
Naga looked at Hextor flying in the sky. 'It is good that I set a month or two as expectation. I don't want to waste time.' Naga thought to himself.
He summoned the book and asked for best way to train his dragon magic and arcane magic. For the arcane magic, he got the advised of making himself familiar with high mana usage so he will have a better durability and perserverance in using high level magic and long battles. For the dragon magic, the book was not able to give any advise. She explained that all recorded information is only about arcane magic and arts.
'So I need to continue to deplete my reserve from time to time. Good I will do this for two days then on the third day, I will use the Divine Flame again and put it on my remaining sacred blank scroll.' Naga smiled and went outside the manor's teritory.
He summoned his great flame bow and use his arcane blessing. He decided not to use his Dragon Tyrant Force but he split his focus and attention with using his arcane reserve and using his dragon mana reserve. He climbed a tree and jumped then he aimed and fired a single shot arrow, which was fused with his fireball technique, to another tree. 'Swoosh!'
After firing the arrow, Naga focus his arcane to his feet then he kicked before landing. 'Swish!'
Naga looked at his targetted tree. The arrow hit it but not the technique he tried using his feet. It is actually the Wind Blade magic.
'It didn't hit but it seems possible.' Naga tried. He decided to do this for two days and will only rest to eat and sleep a bit.
Meanwhile, a huge red dragon is facing a man with chains to his hands and feet near a valley.
”So he got the door, huh? Tsk.” The man said.
